For Postmenopausal Symptoms "Avoid! Absolutely terrible patches. They don’t stick at all, had to use tape to keep them on, and then they came off in the shower. Had to reapply a new patch every day until I got hold of a different brand. This product should be taken off the market."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "Absolutely awful. This patch comes off after 24hrs and it’s meant to stay on for 3 days! I’ve had different brands of patches and they’ve been great. How this made it to the market I don’t know"

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "Estraderm MX 25 These patches are terrible. They don’t adhere to the skin ! After one day it comes off. I normally take Estradot 25 but it is sold out across the state and unavailable!!! Not impressed..... and I’ve been getting Hot flushes again....."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "Horrible! Like having a cheap crisp packet stuck on your skin - except they don’t stick! Crinkly - sounds like you’re wearing a nappy! Itchy, uncomfortable and pathetic adhesion. Not sure if the actually help with symptoms as my anxiety and rages are raised by the awfulness of using these patches! No more!"

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "This patch is not the same as their competitor. They ran out of my usual brand. So I have been on Estroderm for 2 weeks, I am bleeding, my anxiety is through the roof. I am exhausted. All the symptoms I had before starting the Oestrogen patch . So who knows what is in this patch ."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "First time using these patches this month and they are absolutely awful They keep falling off, and will not stay on for the 3 days. Been using other brand patches for over a year and never had this problem. Definitely not fit for purpose."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "Estraderm MX 50, Norgine product. I had to replace it every other day, instead every 3,5 days, because the glue is very weak and the patch doesn’t stick to the skin for very long. Otherwise worked well."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "Absolutely awful patches for sticking. I went through 3 in 24 Hours, in total I used 8 patches in an 11 day period. Told by Boots the chemist that they are often having complaints about these patches sticking. So why use them? Told to stick plasters over the top to make them stick. Surely the company can do something about it."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "I normally use Estradiol 50, but had to change to this as it was not available. Not only do they peel off and are incredibly uncomfortable, but for 2 weeks I have been experiencing all the symptoms I started HRT treatment for again: heart palpitations, very low mood, tiredness, headaches, and memory problems, all of which had disappeared when I started using HRT in the form of Estradiol. Something is not right and these are awful. 0 out of 10."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "Terrible. Used other brands for years and never had one issue. Days after starting on Estraderm MX50, I started experiencing symptoms as the patch would not stay in place! No matter where I put it, it comes off within 24 hours. The few hours that it's on, it feels like a candy wrapper stuck to your body! Can't believe that this product is on the market!"

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "Within 48 hours of putting on the patch at .05mg/day my blood pressure went up, I had head pounding, anxiety and headache for 24 hours. I waited another 24 hours and removed it. Between 4-6 hours and my symptoms had completely abated."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "Only been on this patch for 2 weeks. Terrible heart palpitations and it raised my controlled blood pressure to the stage of doubling bp medication. I have had sore hips and pains thru body and weight gain already and itchy skin and constipation. So have ripped that patch off. Will do this menopause thing naturally."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "Excellent for me. Not sure why people saying they don't stick as I have no problems at all and actually find them sticky when trying to take them off! Another person said they are large?? Mine are only 1inch square so quite small and invisible when stuck down. My symptoms improved dramatically within 2 weeks of use. The only side effect I've had is sore boobs but pretty much like premenstrual painful breasts so I guess that's because they are working. So glad to be on them"

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "I'm switching from gel to patches and estradot was out of stock so I was prescribed Estraderm instead. My heart started racing about 15-20 minutes after I put on the patch, but eventually calmed down, and now I feel fine. However, I'm very disappointed in the adhesion of the patch - it just doesn't stick. It lasted one day, then started to come loose on the second day. I have tried to hold it in place using using mepore tape, but it seems silly to have to do that. My skin was clean, no lotion, normal activities, but didn't even hold as well as a bandaid. Will be looking for an alternative as soon as it's available."

For Hypoestrogenism "I agree with all of the comments. Estraderm is not a good replacement for Estradot. It is like wearing clingwrap with stickytape or even cellophane as it crinkles when l walk. You would have to have the backside of an elephant to move this 'patch' (can it be called a patch when it is so big?) every few days. It does not stay on in tropical humidity and heat. I feel better for venting but don't see any other options at this time. I take Estraderm for Lack of estrogen due to radiation"

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "Don't think its for me. I felt ok the first few days then the patch started to make me itch and wouldn't stick properly anyway. Then 4 days in I got headache, body aches and anxiety. They want me to stick it out for another 10 days, That is very unlikely to happen at this point. I think Ill try other options."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "I started using Estraderm 3 weeks ago. I had to start on this as my regular brand patch is unavailable until July 2021. Within a few days I had raised blood pressure that was previously well treated and then suffered a severe migraine with aura, something I have not experienced in years. Not sure the patch was to blame I continued to use this. Now on my 3rd 'weekly' patch and in each instance I've experienced another severe migraine with aura. Have now removed the patch again and will not use this brand"

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "These are awful. I have had to use it because of supply issues with my normal patch. They're a lot larger, crinkly, and do not stick! I don't swim, sauna, or use creams. Yet I can not get them to stay on. My usual ones adhere so well that I'm left with marks from the adhesive, but with these there is nothing. They need to be looked at by the manufacturer."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "Estraderm MX 75 patches do not stick. Last night the patch lasted 15 mins before it came off and normally lasts no more than 2 days. I have been on for a while now so I have given them a good try. The previous brand is discontinued and whilst my GP changed my prescription to a different brand recently - it is unavailable, so back to these ones. In relation to treating menopause, it has worked well, however reading other reviews I am now wondering if some of my general health symptoms are a cause of menopause and perhaps my dosage needs to be upped. The patches are larger than the previous brand I was on. Someone in their review questioned why people are saying the patches are large - in my experience, the higher the dosage the larger the patch."

"Was given these as Oestrogel didn't seem to absorb. They are huge, crinkly and only last 48 hrs before falling off, but my symptoms are better controlled than on the gel so for now Im sticking even though theyre not!"

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "Have recently been prescribed this as Evorel patches are in short supply . These patches are of a larger circumference and the adhesive is much poorer . To date the maximum I have got out of a patch is 48 hours and even then it’s usually hanging by a thread . It says it all to me that the patch leaves absolutely no residue on my skin where the Evorel did and I had to remove it with baby oil . Ironically one of my biggest menopausal side effect is anxiety and , I’m now stressing every time I put a patch on . I’ve asked for a review of my HRT medication and I’m going to ask to be put on the oral only medication . I can’t be doing with the stress ."

"Estraderm 50 patches don’t stick or stay on for the required time (3 days per patch for me). I have had an allergic localized skin reaction - that resulted in itchy, skin sores, and red areas/rash, migraines, dizziness, muscular aches and pains, and hot flushes returned. Won’t use this brand again, but unfortunately supplies of Estradot (which I’ve found to be much more effective than Estraderm) in NZ are running low."
