Estradiol topical for Atrophic Vaginitis "So far, so good! I'm 63 and started using Estring as an alternative to either the dryness and severe vaginal irritation, or the headaches and hot flashes I was getting from using Estrace vaginal cream. I felt that the cream always was either overdoing it or underdoing it. With Estring, so far, I feel fantastic! No problem inserting, and I do not feel it. No headache for me, plenty of lubrication, and feeling good!"

Estradiol topical for Atrophic Vaginitis "Prescribed to me for surgical menopause (hysterectomy in my 30s). Worked to help prevent UTI and vaginal dryness. Side effects: diarrhea, headaches, and body aches. Sucks… But big pharma keeps you coming back for side effects and other problems. Gotta keep you a customer, I guess. 4 mcg twice a week."

For Atrophic Vaginitis "Generic estradiol made by Teva has been substituted in my pharmacy plan's formulary and does not dissolve in the 10 hours it is inside the vagina overnight. I did not have this problem when they dispensed Yuvafem brand - they dissolved completely and caused a headache the next day to inform me that it was absorbed. I have been finding the Teva brand estradiol tablets intact on the shower floor the next morning and have a problem with being too tight, not too loose. I do insert the applicator quite far, just like the Yuvafem, which worked."

Estradiol topical for Atrophic Vaginitis "Not good for me: back cramps and headache, and it always made me sleepy, and I was still dry and had pain when having sex, so I stopped using it."
