For Postmenopausal Symptoms "I am 50 years old. I was experiencing all the signs of menopause. I was having trouble sleeping because of hot flashes, migraines due to estrogen fluctuations, mood swings, weight gain, etc. I was starting to feel like I was going crazy. I really researched this patch because I was afraid of side effects and I also pride myself on taking no medications, but I just couldn’t take it anymore, so I decided to give it a try. The first week I had some major mood swings, but they went away by the 2nd week. I am on week 3, and I already feel so much better. I can sleep through the night without hot flashes, which has given me more energy during the day. The patch is easy to put on and stays on. My only complaint is the ugly black text on the patch (why?). I would recommend this patch to a friend."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "I have been on the patch for 8 years. I may experience a hot flash a few times a year. Prior to Climara Pro, I had a hot flash at least 3 times an hour, my cognitive functioning decreased, and I couldn't sleep. I have none of these symptoms except a rare hot flash."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "The patch has worked great for me. I can sleep and no more hot flashes. The backing is difficult to remove sometimes but haven't had too much trouble. I have been ordering my patches from Canada because $200-$300 a month is just too expensive. Unfortunately, I have been told by my Canadian pharmacy that Bayer is discontinuing the Climara Pro. Not sure what I will do as I can't afford to purchase the prescription here in the U.S."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "I have a history of postpartum depression, still on meds Pristiq (helps hot flashes too) and Seroquel for sleep. Developed hot flashes and worsening insomnia at age 54. Tried this patch for 2 days. First day was great, and I slept well. Second day I developed worsening depression, a severe headache, high blood pressure, acid reflux, and a feeling of chest discomfort. I seem to be sensitive to every single progestin in the world. Tried to cut the patch in half, side effects were only slightly better, so I stopped it after 2 days. Women with existing anxiety/depression should be careful."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "My Dr. told me I could swim with the patch on. But it tends to come off before the 7 days are up. Also, I ruined 1 patch, I couldn't get the backing off. But it has already helped with my hot flashes!"

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "I've been using Climara Pro for 2 weeks (2 patches), and this morning I used the third patch. Yet, the symptoms persist, and I still suffer greatly from hot flashes and night sweats."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "I am 50 now, and I started using these about a year ago when perimenopause was kicking me hard. The bleeding has now stopped, so I think I am either fully entering menopause now or my body is simply getting adjusted. I had typical perimenopause and menopause symptoms: the hot flashes coming on every hour, lack of sleep, sweating at night, mental fuzzies, vaginal dryness of the worst kind, and overall felt much older and like I had the flu constantly. This patch resolved all of that! I highly recommend it. I have no problems with the patches sticking. I apply them to upper buttocks or low abdomen, below panty lines-where elastics can’t rub them off. The area gets a bit red for a day or two after taking the patch off, but the product insert mentions this is normal and suggests cycling through application spots."
