Esterified estrogens / methyltestosterone for Hot Flashes "I have been using Estratest for over 25 years. I do not have any complaints except the cost. If I don't take it, I get migraines and mood changes, something awful. My insurance company will not cover any part of the cost. But they will cover Estrace or any other less costly type. Do you have any advice?"

For Menopausal Disorders "Never had any problems with Estratest. Experiencing migraines, dryness, hot flashes, depression, anxiety, and brain fog without the prescription as prescribed in the past. I have taken it for many years, and the doctor cut it in half. I am currently trying to get the prescription approved by a gynecologist so I can continue to enjoy my life once again."

For Menopausal Disorders "I have been taking Estratest H.S. 0.625/1.25 mg for 18 years now, and all of my hot flashes, night sweats, and mood swings have all gone away. But since I smoke, my doctors here in Missouri will not give them to me until I have stopped smoking for at least 3 months. That is easier said than done. Without my pills, I get migraine headaches, crazy mood swings, and I can't stand to be around myself."
