Esterified estrogens / methyltestosterone for Postmenopausal Symptoms "72-year-old female with total hysterectomy and ovary removal at 45 years of age. Went into menopause immediately. Found an OB-GYN who had me on estrogen and testosterone injections monthly, which worked excellently to avoid symptoms. Moved to another state and health care system, OB-GYN was horrible. She just did not get it. My symptoms were: irritability, low libido, headache, sleep disturbance, severe mood disturbances, tension, depression, vaginal dryness. It is a nightmare. Estratest helped with all of these symptoms 100%. I would prefer to have continued with injections. But, for now, Estratest is at least helping with the symptoms."

For Menopausal Disorders "Never had any problems with Estratest. Experiencing migraines, dryness, hot flashes, depression, anxiety, and brain fog without the prescription as prescribed in the past. I have taken it for many years, and the doctor cut it in half. I am currently trying to get the prescription approved by a gynecologist so I can continue to enjoy my life once again."

"Been taking for 25 years with no problems. Then my Dr. would not refill, so went into depression for 3 months. Got back on script, back to normal. Have had a total hysterectomy in 1997. Do not want to live without script. No patches."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "JC in 2018 wrote a review that mirrors mine. I have taken this drug for 20 years. My doctor all of a sudden changed it to just estrogen. Although I only have a lot of sadness, crying, decreased libido, and the worst one of all, as if it could get any worse, “a loss so far of 1/2 my hair.” Well, for the moment, I’m taking things into my hands and returning to taking what I have left of this med to see if my hair will stop falling out. But for 20 years, this medication has been wonderful and needs to be put back on the market, or a personal letter of what health risk reason it was taken away should be sent to each patient that was taking it should occur! The public has a right to know, and we should not need to be investigators to find out!"
