"This drug Invanz saved me. Admitted with a fever of 103°F, abdominal pain, unable to urinate. Started IV treatment with another drug. Culture came back positive for Klebsiella (ESBL) and was put on Invanz. I began three courses in the hospital and finished at home. I had a fourth course pre-op and post-op."

"My husband was admitted to the hospital for sepsis. The blood culture showed Klebsiella pneumonia. Then he was sent home with a PICC line and the IV med Invanz. His strength deteriorated, and by the 5th day, he could not stand up and was hallucinating. I found this was a side effect of Invanz, and the drug was stopped, but he hallucinated severely for a week and could not walk. His doctor said he has had several patients that responded this way to this drug. This was a horrible experience, closer monitoring of the side effects of this drug is needed!!!"
