For Nausea/Vomiting "I went to the E.R. due to arm pain, along with migraine and light nausea. They gave me droperidol along with Tylenol. They took me for a CAT scan minutes later, and that's where the real horror began. My anxiety shot through the roof, my heart started beating out of my chest, I felt completely out of control while the tech and the nurse looked at me like I was the problem. I snatched the IV out, tried to sit down and gather what was happening with me. I left the hospital A.M.A. My husband looked at me in sheer defeat. I got home and couldn't be still. I thought this was the end. I don't recommend this for anyone EVER. This should be illegal everywhere! Three days later, I am still feeling restless, fatigued, dizzy spells, anxiety out of nowhere. This was the worst thing I've ever experienced in my life."

For Nausea/Vomiting "Given with Benadryl for a migraine. Instantly suicidal--could not see any hope. If I wasn't on so much Benadryl I struggled to move, I would have hurt myself or others. The anxiety tapered off but ultimately lasted DAYS after the initial dose. Legs felt like jelly and twitchy. I'm on the fourth night since taking it and still experiencing nausea, vertigo, dizziness, loss of appetite. Needed someone to be with me 24/7 for the first 24-30 hours after taking it because I was genuinely afraid of being alone with my thoughts. Constant anxiety and tension. Left the hospital stumbling over my own feet from the effects it has on your legs. Please do not use this drug if possible. If you must, be monitored by people who can help you if necessary. It also did not effectively treat my migraine at all."

"I received droperidol along with Benadryl through an IV when I went to get checked out after hitting my head. I had a headache pretty bad still a few hours later and tingling/pain in my left arm, and went to be seen after speaking with a nurse. I am chronically ill with a lot of health issues and on about two dozen meds, but I also don’t respond to drugs well generally. Within about 10 minutes from when I was given the injections, my headache felt a lot better. Incidentally, the chronic pain in my back did too, as well as the pain in other parts of my body. I marveled at how an antipsychotic was able to relieve both my acute and chronic pain significantly for close to 24 hours, something that no other medication had come close to doing for me. The only side effect(s) I had were a bit of vertigo and a slight change in how my hearing felt temporarily. These resolved within an hour."
