For Allergic Reactions "Reduced my itching and after a while, it disappeared. The red on my body started disappearing too. Did cause me to sleep, but that is no problem as I'm in an assisted living facility. I do sleep a lot with it, but I figure my body needs to sleep anyhow. I'm happy with it so far. I take 1 25mg capsule every 6 hours. I am allergic to generic detergent that most facilities use to wash clothes, sheets, etc. I supply my own, but someone did not use it and used the generic stuff, and my body went into an itching fit from head to toe. The Banophen has really helped me."

"It is a lot less expensive than Benadryl. The average 25-pack of Benadryl that I have seen is about $12, while the average 100-pack of Banophen is about $4 that I have seen. Benadryl seems to give more negative side effects than Banophen, which is a bit odd, considering they have the same exact active ingredient. Overall, I trust Banophen more and use it much more often."
