Diphenhydramine / naproxen for Insomnia "I decided to take an Aleve PM pill so I could sleep better because I have insomnia... it was the worst move ever. I slept at 11 and woke up at 1, and I've been up since. I have class today at 8, and this was the worst choice I ever made. My head hurts, and I have a dry mouth, so I've been drinking a lot of water. I seriously DO NOT recommend."

For Pain "I was diagnosed with arthritis in my right hip and had fallen, hurting that leg pretty badly 15 months ago. My left leg got swollen from my knee to my ankle, barely able to walk. Naproxen helped the pain easily, but for 4 nights in a row, I felt hyper and could not sleep! When I napped, it was not even an hour at a time."

Diphenhydramine / naproxen for Insomnia "I've tried many solutions for my insomnia, from melatonin and herbal remedies to prescription drugs, but mostly without success. I've tried all of the OTC 'PM' meds, but the only one that showed some promise was naproxen PM. It's not great or a long-term answer, but it does provide some help while I continue to try out other possible remedies (recently tried Doxepin, which left me drowsy the next day, and now giving Trazodone a second try)."

Diphenhydramine / naproxen for Pain "I had total knee replacement 3 weeks ago and figured I would try Aleve PM because of good reviews elsewhere. I took 2 caplets at bedtime, as directed. An hour and a half later, I was still wide awake and in pain. It did absolutely nothing for me, and I couldn't take anything else because I'd taken this alleged 12-hour medication. So horribly disappointed."

Diphenhydramine / naproxen for Insomnia "I wake up frequently at night, and have restless sleeps. This has been the only thing to work for me. It doesn't make me sleepy, but it does keep me asleep. You do need to moderate the intake, so you don't build up a tolerance, otherwise, I would recommend this to everyone."

Diphenhydramine / naproxen for Pain "It is the only thing that can make me fall asleep anymore, but if I get woken up at all, I am extremely angry for no reason, and my pain is ten times worse. My pain is constantly around 8-10 at night, and I can hardly fall asleep with it, but when I take Aleve PM, it just expands it worse. Most nights I’m just laying in tears from being so damn tired, but I just can’t get comfortable or out of pain enough to actually drift off. Aleve PM helps me with how fast it can just knock me out, but once I wake up, even if after an hour, the pain keeps me up for hours on end."

Diphenhydramine / naproxen for Pain "I ached all over while on a camping trip and was restless, so I took 1 Aleve to take the edge off and quickly felt myself drifting off to la-la land. I was woken by sharp stomach pains and tried to unsuccessfully use the bathroom. When I climbed back into my tent, I began experiencing itchy palms and soles of my feet. Being that I was camping, I thought I must have gotten into something poisonous, but then I felt my tongue starting to swell and I started to wheeze. Fortunately, I was in a place that had a medic tent where they assessed me to find my blood pressure through the roof and my pulse skyrocketing. After 30 or so minutes, the side effects began to subside and my vitals went back to normal, and the Aleve went into the trash. Read side effects."

Diphenhydramine / naproxen for Insomnia "I had no choice in trying Aleve PM for the 1st time last night. Horrible! And I was really praying and hoping for the best. At night it's very difficult for me to get to sleep. Advil PM had always worked great, but the store around my way is out of stock. I had to purchase something to get me through the night, and Aleve PM was my only other choice. Unfortunately, I woke up twice. I took 3 the first time, then four more 5 hours later. Both times it took me about 3 hours to doze off. I just went back to sleep at 2 am and have been up since 7 am. I really wish I could return these pills. They are horrible! Seriously."

Diphenhydramine / naproxen for Insomnia "I go to the gym almost every day. So I have an ache or pain somewhere all the time. I have a hard time falling asleep. All I need is one Aleve PM, and I sleep pain-free for 8 hours."

Diphenhydramine / naproxen for Insomnia "Aleve PM makes me go to sleep and stay asleep. Kicks in fast, helps with fibromyalgia pain. My only concern is reading about possible side effects and liver damage."
