"Was prescribed Valium 2 mg to increase sleep quality as I was sleeping with my fists clenched and clenching my jaw. It seemed to put me to sleep, but I noticed that I would still wake up a number of times through the night and, worse, I was so irritable and angry the next day that everything frustrated me. Only took it for 2 nights. Dr. felt that an increased dose would only worsen the symptoms the next day."

"I was given 2 pills of this drug prior to a dental procedure. The one I took the night before my procedure gave me the worst panic attack I have ever had. I thought I was going to end up in the hospital, it was so scary. I will never take this drug again. I will stick with my normal Klonopin that doesn't do this to me."

"I take it before I go to sleep, and it is the best thing any doc could have given me. All the other meds made me feel like shit. And this one I sleep like a champ and wake up with a smile."

"Take 2 mg at night to help get to sleep. Works well but leaves me with a 'hangover' for a few hours every morning."

"For instant light sedation, Valium is the number one choice. It is fast-acting even in small dosages like 10mg, but for full effect, 20mg is preferred. Though it can lead to unwanted dependency after a few weeks, so beware."
