For Dry Eye Disease "I started Cequa for dry eyes, and it seems to help tremendously, but I am noticing vision changes where it’s hard to see up close and at night. I never had an issue before. I’m going to stop the drops and tell my ophthalmologist."

For Dry Eye Disease "Cequa has worked very well for me. I've been using it almost a year and if I faithfully use it every 12 hours, my eyes feel good. I tried using Restasis, but that distorted my vision so I couldn't read and my eyes burned constantly. I also tried Xiidra and it worked for a few months, but then the constant severe burning started. So Cequa has been useful for me. It's getting more frequent during the night, though, that I will wake up and my eyes hurt from dryness, so then I put in Celluvisc and Genteal ointment to help me through the night. During the day, in addition to Cequa, I use Evotears (Miebo) every 3-4 hours, and the combination of these two makes my dry eyes feel good enough I can read several hours a day. I'm happy with this combination if it continues to work. For the two drugs, I pay about $300 for a 90-day supply and my insurance picks up about half, so it's not cheap."

For Dry Eye Disease "It burns my eyes really badly. I feel like it's reduced my vision, rather than produce more tears, except while my eyes are burning."

For Dry Eye Disease "I had used Restasis for about 10 years, but over time it gradually stopped working. I tried Xiidra, but the first time I used it my eyes swelled up! I was using Lacrisert, but was not having much luck with that either. Then, in the course of my research, I came across Cequa. At this point, I was willing to try anything, my dry eye is so severe. I have been using it for a week, and at day 5, the pain and redness just stopped! So far, this drug is like a miracle for me! I pray it continues to work. Thankfully, my insurance company agreed to cover it with a $60 co-pay. Of course, as everyone knows, you get more than one day out of a vial. As if we would just throw it away! Really? LOL."
