"Great medicine. I coughed so much that the dr said I have bruised my ribs. Very painful, this stuff is the best when you are having severe constant coughing. It will give you relief and let you rest. What is better than the OTC cough syrups."

"Works great! Quiets a hacking cough, no matter how bad. Works the best when other products don't work. Does cause drowsiness, though, but that's not bad if it's night time or you're convalescing at home anyway from being sick. Great stuff!"

"Amazing product! I hope this isn't TMI, but I was feeling quite sick as 'cold' was sitting on my chest and had a lot of mucus that wasn't coming up. Took this medicine, and it really does help produce a more productive cough and less frequent, which meant I could clear my throat of mucus and wasn't coughing quite as much. Took for a max of two a day. Felt a bit better after the first dose. Cost me around"

"I tried this brand for the first time. My previous option makes me drowsy. Back to the point, the only thing Robitussin has done for me is caused gas and random bowel movements. No help in the intended purpose."

"This is the best working cough syrup. While it doesn't totally eliminate it (which would make it a 10!), it is the best among all of the different cough syrups and pills. I am not a fan of the Benzonatate gel capsules. They do nothing for me."

"Had a harsh cough that lasted for a week. I purchased this cough syrup and took 20 ml and felt the relief immediately. Not only did my cough ease up, but I was able to clear the mucus that was stuck in my chest! Would definitely recommend! I also give the children's Robitussin to my sons."

"I tried this for the first time, and it kind of worked. I am still coughing a little, but not as much. I do still kind of taste it in my mouth, which is weird, but I would use it again if it was the only medicine I had. However, I will be looking for a new medicine."

"I have had a cough due to a viral infection that has caused post-nasal drip. I have had the post-nasal drip/virus for 2 weeks now. I have coughed so much my chest burns and lungs hurt. I cry every time I cough. I was given benzonatate (pearls) that did not help at all. I then requested something else because I have not been able to sleep at night or function during the day due to the constant and painful coughing. I was given liquid Codeine-Guaifenesin. I have not noticed a difference using this medication at all. I am still coughing just as badly even at night. I am miserable and nothing is helping. The medication does NOT make me sleepy at all either. I have stopped both medications as they are a complete waste to take for me. I still have the itching/irritation in my throat that causes me to cough. Steamy showers/bathroom is the only thing I have found that relieves my coughing for a short period of time."

"Had a horrible virus, which left me with a very dry, horrible cough. Tried a lot of top brand meds with no effect. Saw this Robitussin and just grabbed it as a last resort. Took a swig in the car. Feel better already, cough subsided massively, and I don’t really write reviews, but this worked like magic for me, seriously."
