For Bacterial Infection "The PA prescribed 1 week of Cipro by mouth for a quarter-inch wide reddish laceration from my bike pedals six inches above my ankle. I questioned it. She said I should take it to 'prevent the infection from going to my ankle.' I took the Cipro as prescribed. It's been 3 weeks since I took it. The cut is mostly healed now, but I got multiple tendinitis at week 1 and still am having hip pain."

For Urinary Tract Infection "Please don’t take these pills, the damage it causes is irreversible! I took two pills, one in the morning and another in the evening, and I started feeling tingling and burning in my lower arms and legs that night. The next day, I couldn’t walk and had to crawl to the bathroom and had pain in all my joints. In the weeks and months following, I experienced neuropathy in my hands and feet, blurred vision, tendinitis, tinnitus, insomnia, anxiety, panic attacks, nightmares, unable to regulate my body temperature, cracking joints throughout my entire body anytime I moved, my hair got very coarse like brush bristles, my nails became deformed and brittle, and many of my teeth broke or cracked. Cipro combined with NSAIDs, steroids, and other drugs that cross the blood-brain barrier are deadly."

For Prostatitis "I had a prostate infection and was prescribed Cipro XR for ten days. The infection cleared, but after taking the medication, I lost all sense of smell. I finished the course of antibiotics the second week in November 2017. I was told the anosmia (lack of smell) is temporary and my sense of smell would return, but it is now mid-May 2018 and I still have no smell and cannot taste any food that I eat."

For Urinary Tract Infection "Do not take Cipro XR. I took it, and it has destroyed my body. I used to play guitar and lift 260 pounds over my head to not be able to hold a spoon. It destroyed the nerves in my hands, feet, ruptured my Achilles tendon, and caused me multifocal motor neuropathy. For the love of God, do not take Cipro."
