"This medication has helped me a lot. I take it only once per day, but I notice that after 12 hours the congestion comes back, so I will try it every 12 hours now. It works very well for me."

"I've had asthma my whole life. I'm also moderately-severely allergic to cats and dogs (and dust, grass, etc.). With Montelukast/Singulair and Zyrtec-D, I can breathe and enjoy my pets. I took Singulair as a kid. When our allergist, whom our family saw for several decades, left the practice, I didn't have Singulair for a while. I started having severe problems breathing. I saw a pulmonologist who gave me Montelukast (generic of Singulair). I can breathe again! Without Zyrtec-D, I get a sinus infection within days. I've taken Zyrtec for well over a decade and a half. I've tried Claritin-D and Allegra-D. Without decongestant (-D), none are that effective for me. Claritin-D helped when I was younger. Benadryl helps occasionally but isn't meant for daily use. I'm upset it's no longer available for several months with a prescription, as I need it to breathe. I have inhalers too. They don't work as well as these."
