For Glaucoma, Open Angle "After one month's use, have decided to stop these eye drops. I wake up with a dry mouth during the night, causing regular sleep interruption. Therefore, I am already fatigued upon waking, but following the morning drop application, I feel even more tired and lethargic! The dry mouth continues during the day, and I do not leave the house without a bottle of water. My appetite has increased, and I have had rapid weight gain."

For Intraocular Hypertension "Well, what to say. It did the job bringing down my eye pressure (which was essential), but the side effects were fairly significant. Stuffy nose, dry cough, tiredness, anxiousness, night vision issues, BP changes, pinhole pupil (only for the first week), generally an unwell, foggy kind of feeling. That said, don't avoid taking it if you have a high eye pressure situation. It's worth some of the above due to its efficiency, but pharmacists and ophthalmologists should be more diligent in understanding the potential side effects and carefully monitoring patient feedback. This is NOT a side effect-free medication by any means!!!"

For Intraocular Hypertension "Swollen, itchy, and red lower eyelids. Crust has formed on upper and lower eyelids on the outside of the lids. Very tired all of the time. It did lower my eye pressures significantly. I use it twice each day."

For Glaucoma, Open Angle "I had a side effect reaction that went on for almost a year before the cause was determined - extremely tired - fell asleep suddenly daily (saw my general practitioner) rapid heart rate (saw a heart specialist), weakness in all my muscles, leg cramps (increased my potassium intake). I saw many doctors regarding my symptoms, including the ophthalmologist that prescribed it to no avail. My local cardiac specialist sent me to a neurophysiologist who assured me my symptoms were not related to my heart - I have a healthy heart. He recommended I either go back to my ophthalmologist (the only doctor that I had seen in the previous 8 months and only source of any medication). My ophthalmologist thought it “might be” the Simbrinza, so ceased my using it. The symptoms lessened over time. I am now seeing an eye specialist. I still have weak muscles, back pain, and stiffness/pain in all my joints. Before this experience, I was a healthy, active athlete. My life has changed completely!!"
