Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "It seems to work at first but once you stop using it, Psoriasis comes back more aggressive. I was almost clear but I decided to use Enstilar to 'speed up' the clearance: It did exactly the opposite and now I'm back to square one. HOW do I know it's Enstilar? Because I put the foam only on my upper body and didn't use it for my legs. Now legs are okay while upperbody is disastrous. This happened with so many people. I think this product needs to be re-evaluated and the company must be questioned because they know it only works temporarily."

Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "I was prescribed Enstilar foam for scalp psoriasis. It worked very well, very fast. Challenge: how to remove medication from hair. Hair very sticky. By reading reviews I found remedy which works very well. Coconut oil (I used PAM coconut spray for pans, pots, etc.) I sprayed it on saucer, heated for 25 seconds in microwave and put right on sticky stuff in my hair. Left it for 15minutes and washed it out with clear shampoo. Gone right away after having tried many other remedies. All the best"

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "I love Taclonex to manage my symptoms of psoriasis. My problems started after the birth of my first child. I later learned pregnancy makes autoimmune conditions much worse. While living in the Bay Area, I was fortunate enough to meet a nutritionist who explained to me the true causes of psoriasis. Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease but can be made better by identifying and eliminating foods that trigger an immune response in your system. An ALCAT blood test can identify your problematic foods, and those food changes combined with Taclonex resulted in total clearance of psoriasis. I can't tell you what a relief it has been."

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "I used Taclonex when it first came on the market. The scratching would keep me up all night, and I would use sandpaper from the hardware store to file down the hard crust. I was always bleeding. I went to the dermatologist again, and he told me something new came on the market and told me it works in 75% of the people. He gave me samples. I asked if I should file down the crust before applying the samples. I swear, the next day the crust was gone. It was like a miracle. The whole area, which had lost its color, came back in about a year. I may be 1 of the lucky ones - it never came back - skin clear & soft."

Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "I’ve tried several other topical medications, including monthly steroid injections and nothing seemed to work to get my scalp psoriasis under control. This has been a constant battle for me for over 18 years now. Enstilar has worked so well to get my psoriasis under control and to keep it under control. I pay $20 for two bottle through my prescription coverage."

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "I have had psoriasis for over 15yrs and Taclonex was the only medication that actually cleared it up. It worked quickly and the psoriasis stayed gone I was only fortunate enough to experience this medication because my dermatologist gave me free samples and I was able to spread that out for a year. My psoriasis stayed clear for about 6 months after I stopped using the Taclonex. My only cons to this medication is it tore up my fingernails (I recommend applying it with gloves) and the price! I was very disappointed when I went to fill my prescription and found out the price. I just cannot afford it. Almost $800.00 with ins! That is the only reason I gave 7 stars. If it were actually affordable I would give it 100 stars."

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "I have had psoriasis for like 5 years. Nothing has worked. I have had it in some spots on my body, my ears, and on my scalp. I used this medicine one time in my ears, and some on my scalp and i saw a HUGE improvement. My ears are pretty much cleared up, and my scalp is on it's way! Best topical I have ever used! I highly recommend it!"

Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "Recently just started using this. It's prescribed free of charge on our NHS and it has worked amazingly so far. I have tried methotrexate in the past and light therapy and neither have been as effective as this stuff."

Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "My dermatologist prescribed Enstilar for psoriasis mainly for my feet and hands, but after examination said I had it on my scalp as well. I've been using it for not quite one week yet and I do feel better. My main concern is that I can't wash it out of my hair. I asked my hair stylist/colorist what to use. She suggested tea tree shampoo mixed with baking soda. I let it sit in my hair for a few minutes, then reapplied. I followed up with conditioner. I would say my hair is about 90% less greasy."

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "This topical ointment is amazing. It produced outstanding results for me within a few days, and after about 2 weeks, I had several spots that were completely clear. I have had psoriasis for over 20 years, and this is the first drug that actually produced any clearing at all. My lower legs and torso areas are completely clear, and the more difficult areas to control, the outer thighs and buttocks areas, are now about 80% clear. The more difficult areas have never responded to any drugs. I have tried several through the years and had given up on drugs and relied on tanning lights or sunshine for my treatment. But with this one, I hit the jackpot."

Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "I’ve had psoriasis for about 15 years and never been able to get rid of it in my elbows, nails, scalp and a few other places, and while I had some success with Betacap for my scalp, nothing else seemed to work. I’ve been using Enstilar for less than a week and my elbows have returned to a once forgotten state, and it’s even made my nails look pink and healthy again. Obviously, the nails need to grow out to make them right, it’s the first time I’ve seen improvement in 15 years. As for the canned foam, I actually thought I got a dud because it comes out so fine and whispy, so I took it back to the pharmacy and they gave me the tutorial...I think I was expecting hair mousse. This stuff isn’t greasy. Once it’s been on for 10 minutes it’ll sink into your skin, and if you’re wearing a shirt just wipe off the excess. If your skin is bad and it’s ruining your life then you’ll take the hit. 100% happy with it right now and just need to keep the prescription topped up!"

Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "This stuff is horrible!!!! I was prescribed this for scalp psoriasis and it made it worse. This stuff makes a mess it gets all over clothes and bedding not only that but it does not wash out of hair. I washed my hair 8 times and even used Dawn dish soap and still could not get it out of my hair."

Enstilar (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "I suffer from scalp psoriasis and lately it has flared to the point where steroid injections, clobetasol, xtrac (light therapy) didn't show any improvement. I'm not sure if it is because I am prescribed generic drugs or if my body has developed an immunity to the medications. However, I received a sample of enstilar from my care provider and I can truly say this works miracles. After my first application I could feel thick layers of plaques slough off from my scalp. However, the downside is that it is extremely difficult to wash out. It took me 3 washes and on my 3rd wash I had to apply baking soda to my hair (not the roots) and let it sit for 15 minutes before washing it out. It stung a little but I got the enstilar out. The consistency is almost like glue is stuck in my hair!"

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "My scalp psoriasis began about 5 years, about the same time I was put on high blood pressure medication. I'm not sure if there is any connection. I have tried all kinds of medicines as well as laser therapy with no success. Recently, I went to a new dermatologist who prescribed Taclonex with great success. However, if I stop using it for more than 3 days, the psoriasis starts up again. One of my complaints is I have a hard time washing it out of my hair. The day after I use the medicine, I wash my hair at least 4 x) and it still is greasy."

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "This is AMAZING! I've had nasty eczema on my index finger for almost a year where it was almost impossible to use the digit. It was thick, unbendable, cracking, bleeding and painful! After a week, I actually have feeling back in that finger. It has cleared up spots on my neck and behind my ears. Just amazing!"

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "I've had psoriasis for 15 years and I used the taclonex ointment for a couple of years before going on biologics. Last month I had a flare up while on Stelara and my derm told me taclonex had been reformulated into a suspension and he wanted me to try it and gave me a coupon for $0 copay. Yay! I take the RX to be filled and find out that my insurance will not cover it and the coupon pays up to $300 my portion was $1433. The ointment worked well for me, so I just knew the reformulated version would work wonders. I used the suspension 2x/day for a month. This medication was extremely greasy, ruined my sheets and my clothes and actually made my psoriasis worse. I would NOT recommend this product. Try clobetasol instead."

Thank you to my Dermatologist. I have tried so many medicines and nothing worked. It is kind of greasy but I have been waiting many years for something to finally help my knees and elbows. I couldn't be happier."

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "I went to the dermatologist after having psoriasis on my hands, elbows, fingers and toes. He gave me Laclotion and Clobetasol foam. These did not work after using them for 2 weeks! I went to a different doctor, who gave me Taclonex, and even though it's greasy when you put it on (not like the Clobetasol foam that dried up right away), but the Taclonex got rid of the psoriasis after 7 days. It really is amazing."

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "This drug was extremely effective at treating my psoriasis. I have fairly severe Guttate psoriasis in which I develop small spots over large areas of my body (as opposed to one large, localized spot). After applying Taclonex for only three days or so, the spots began to clear up almost completely. There are no side effects that I notice with this medication. The only negative involved is that the salve is greasy and difficult to apply. I would literally spend twenty minutes applying it to all the small spots on my body twice a day. That, combined with the fact that my whole body would be covered in a thin greasy film, led me to eventually seek out other treatment. If these don't apply to you, this medicine is hard to beat."

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "This product is extremely greasy. It does not absorb into the skin and sits on the surface until eventually it will wipe off on clothes, furniture, bed sheets etc. As result it can't really be used in the morning, day or evening. Disappointingly CVS would not take it back for a refund on the day of sale. Also called Leo Pharmaceuticals, who make the product, and they could only offer an exchange for the same product! Outrageous considering how much money the industry makes!! Now I have 2 bottles of this expensive product I cannot use. I recommend to get the Clobetasol cream and stear clear of this one."

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "I absolutely love this medicine. It works wonders for my small spots of plaque psoriasis on my body. I also have scalp psoriasis which I also treat with Taclonex. I use it mainly around my hair line because it makes my hair very greasy and oily looking. This is the only ointment type of topical medication I have been prescribed that legitimately works. I was diagnosed with psoriasis at the age of 3 and am now 16 and have been using this for about 3 years now. I find that there aren't really any side effects that I can think of. If I routinely apply this every night before I go to bed, my psoriasis will disappear within a week and stay gone or come back in about two weeks without applying it."

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "I tried other medicine that did not work and costed me over $100.00. I tried the Taclonex liquid in a bottle for my scalp and applied to my legs. My scalp cleared in a week, my legs are coming along very well. The dark patches have completely vanished. When I went back to my doctor he was very impressed and so was I. I asked for a prescription for the ointment for my legs and use the other on my scalp on a as need basic. My doctor office also gave me the prescription card, I'm able to get 6 bottles of liquid for my scalp and 6 ointments for my legs."

Taclonex (betamethasone / calcipotriene) "I have had Scalp psoriasis for over 20 years, and about 10 years ago developed it in my ears as well. I was able to calm the scalp psoriasis for a long time with Nioxin shampoo and scalp therapy, but nothing was helping with my ears - They were so bad with plaques at times I couldn't hear well, and forget wearing a headset for work! 3 days ago my doctor prescribed Taclonex after so many other things didn't work. Today I was able to wear ear buds for the first time in 5 years. As for my scalp, it started flaring up about a year ago, so I'm using Taclonex on my scalp as well. I don't notice as much change on my scalp yet, but I do notice a reduction in itching. Drawback - Very greasy in the hair, hard to wash out."
