For Chronic Pain "I take Oxycodone/Acetaminophen 2.5/300. It works great, but the low dosage my doctor has me on doesn't keep the pain reduced enough to be able to tolerate all day. But it works better than anything he has tried so far. I'm sure if he got the strength and dose right, it would provide more relief, and I would be able to live a more productive life. I got run over by a car a few years ago and now suffer from debilitating pain due to herniated/bulging disks, spinal stenosis, nerve damage, scoliosis, and sciatica, as well as many other diagnoses. When I took Percocet 5/325 for shingles, it worked great and had no side effects."

For Chronic Pain "After many years, I was recently switched from Norco 10/325 to Nalocet, which currently is brand only and offered in a 2.5/300 formula. I was having some terrible side effects from various generic brands of Norco within the last year or so, and my physician talked to me about the Nalocet. My understanding is that brand names are held to a higher standard than the cheap, third-world generics we’re seeing now, so I thought the Nalocet may be a better option. Well, I was wrong. Aside from the difficulty in even finding the medication (none of the chains could even order it; I had to go to a specialty pharmacy to obtain it), the medication seems rather weak. Like the other reviewer stated, it’s probably the low dosage. The higher copays, lack of pain relief, and inconvenience in getting the meds are enough to not stay on this treatment."
