For Pain "I developed severe lower back nerve pain, which became almost intolerable and severely limited my range of motion; I could barely walk. I was prescribed Tylenol 3, 2 tablets every 4 hours. The first day, it worked great, but the next day, I was vomiting and became severely constipated. The doctor switched me to Celebrex, which did little for the pain. Trying the Tylenol with a stool softener, drinking more water, hoping I don't get nauseated."

For Pain "I took this after my breast reduction surgery for lingering pain. I can say that aside from serious constipation, this works great. I'd describe its effect as 'doesn't really lower the pain level, but makes you not care that you're in pain.' I definitely didn't want to take too much of it -- the constipation sucks, and feeling that 'two drinks in' dizziness isn't exactly fun times -- but for what it was, it did the job."

For Pain "On Tylenol with Codeine #3 for arthritis and sciatica, and I get great pain control. Use as required. Usually two tablets 2x a day. Before bed works great. Causes constipation now. Drink lots of water."

For Osteoarthritis "It does take the edge off the pain. Taken every 6 hours, the effects weaken and pain returns after 5-6 hours. Side effects can be dizziness, so do not operate a vehicle, etc. Another side effect can be constipation if taken for more than several days. An OTC stool softener is recommended by my doctor."
