Side effects include:
Most common adverse reactions (≥5%): nausea, dyspepsia, constipation, vomiting, hypertension, abdominal pain, diarrhea, tachycardia, dizziness, GI reflux disease.

General adverse events
The most common adverse reactions were nausea, dyspepsia, constipation, vomiting, hypertension, abdominal pain, diarrhea, tachycardia, dizziness, and gastroesophageal reflux disease.[Ref]
Cardiovascular
- Very common (10% or more): Hypertension (11%)
- Common (1% to 10%): Tachycardia/increased heart rate, orthostatic hypotension
- Postmarketing reports: Chest pain, hypertensive crisis, palpitations, supraventricular tachycardia, syncope
Dermatologic
- Postmarketing reports: Rash, angioedema, Stevens-Johnson syndrome
Gastrointestinal
- Very common (10% or more): Nausea (19%), dyspepsia/esophageal discomfort (18%), constipation (17%), vomiting (15%)
- Common (1% to 10%): Abdominal pain, diarrhea, gastroesophageal reflux disease, dry mouth, salivary hypersecretion
- Postmarketing reports: Gastritis
Genitourinary
- Common (1% to 10%): Urinary retention
Hepatic
- Common (1% to 10%): Elevated liver enzymes
- Frequency not reported: Biliary obstruction
Hypersensitivity
- Postmarketing reports: Anaphylactic reaction (including angioedema of the face, lips, tongue, and/or larynx)
Musculoskeletal
- Postmarketing reports: Rhabdomyolysis
Nervous system
- Common (1% to 10%): Dizziness, somnolence, extrapyramidal symptoms (non-akathisia)
- Frequency not reported: Anticholinergic central nervous system effects
- Postmarketing reports: Confusion, delirium, dizziness, hallucinations
Ocular
- Common (1% to 10%): Blurred vision
- Postmarketing reports: Abnormal vision
Respiratory
- Common (1% to 10%): Cough/productive cough
