Precautions
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- Known hypersensitivity to the active component or any of the ingredients
Safety and efficacy have not been established in patients younger than 12 years.

Administration advice:
- Administer subcutaneously every 4 weeks into upper arm, thigh, or abdomen (avoid navel area); upper arm may be used when given by health care provider or caregiver.
- Do not inject into areas where skin is tender, bruised, erythematous, or hardened; rotate injection sites.
- Certain dosage forms (vial and prefilled syringe) are intended for administration by a health care provider.
- Patients/caregivers may administer single-dose prefilled pen after proper injection technique training and approval from health care provider.
- If a dose is missed, administer as soon as possible and then resume dosing on the usual day of administration. If the next dose is already due, then administer as planned.
Storage requirements:
- Store refrigerated at 2C to 8C (36F to 46F) in original carton to protect from light.
- May be kept at room temperature at 20C to 25C (68F to 77F) for a maximum of 30 days; do not return to refrigerator once product has reached room temperature.
- Do not freeze, shake, or expose to heat.
Reconstitution/preparation techniques:
- Once removed from refrigeration, the drug should be allowed to reach room temperature (this generally takes 60 minutes).
- This product should be inspected for visible particulate matter and discoloration.
