Usual Pediatric Dose for Motion Sickness
6 years and older: 25 mg orally every 6 to 8 hours
- Maximum dose: 75 mg/day
Comments:
- For the prevention of travel sickness, patients should take the first dose approximately 1 hour prior to departure or at the onset of symptoms.
- Patients should be cautioned to avoid driving or operating machinery while taking this drug.
Use: To prevent and treat nausea, vomiting, or dizziness associated with motion sickness

Precautions
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- Use in children under 6 years of age
- Use in children with a breathing problem (e.g., chronic bronchitis) or glaucoma without consulting with a healthcare provider
- Use in children taking sedatives or tranquilizers without prior consultation with a healthcare provider
Safety and efficacy have not been established in patients younger than 6 years; this drug is not recommended for use in these patients.
