Usual Adult Dose for Keratoconjunctivitis Sicca
Instill 1 drop in each eye twice a day (about 12 hours apart)

Precautions
CONTRAINDICATIONS: None
Safety and efficacy have not been established in patients younger than 18 years.

Administration advice:
- Wash hands before use.
- Use the single-dose vials immediately after opening; a single-dose vial can be used to dose both eyes.
- Discard the single-dose vial (including any remaining contents) immediately after use.
- This drug can be used concomitantly with other topical eye drops; if using more than 1 topical ophthalmic drug, administer the drugs at least 5 minutes apart.
- Remove contact lenses before administration of this drug; they may be reinserted 15 minutes after administration.
- If 1 dose is missed, continue treatment with the next dose.
Storage requirements:
- Store refrigerated at 2C to 8C (36F to 46F).
- After opening the carton: Store refrigerated or at room temperature (2C to 25C [36F to 77F]).
- If stored at room temperature: Use within 30 days, not exceeding the printed expiration date.
- After opening each foil pouch: Use the single-dose vials within 7 days, not exceeding the printed expiration date.
- Store unopened single-dose vials in the original foil pouch until ready to use.
Patient advice:
- Read the US FDA-approved patient labeling (Instructions for Use).
- To avoid eye injury or contamination of the solution, do not touch the tip of the single-dose vial to your eye or to any surface.
