For Birth Control: I had been on the vaginal nuva ring for the past 6 years and absolutely loved it! It was the only form of birth control that did not cause depression or other horrible side effects. Unknowingly my insurance switched me onto the generic version of the Nuva Ring in November and I have had a horrible experience. I don't get my period when the ring is out of my body and when the ring is inserted I experience extremely painful abdominal pain and cramps that I never had before. It took me a few months to realize that the change from name brand to generic was what caused this. I decided to take it out and am no longer on birth control. |

For Birth Control: Originally started taking this pill for terrible cramps and pain during period. After 5 months, Slynd has reduced my period to only 3 days and the pain has decreased somewhat. I was pretty happy with the shorter period and less pain, but the acne is terrible. I had an absolutely clear face and back before taking this medication. Now my face and back are always covered in pimples. I cannot take it anymore I will be switching off of this pill. Just to note I did switch from tri-lo marzia to Slynd and tri-lo is much more effective with helping with acne but useless for cramps. I will be trying Yaz next... For Birth Control: I started the first pack of Slynd during my period and I had spotting after 2 weeks of the pack for about a week and then I got my period with the placebo pills, as expected for about 4 days. During my second pack I had about 4 days of spotting and some bleeding but then I skipped my period at the end of the 2nd pack (during the placebos) and then on the 3rd pack I didnt have any spotting or breakthrough bleeding until 2 days before the placebos of that pack. So I was clean for about 5 weeks straight, which was exciting. But now I am on my 4th pack and I had heavy breakthrough bleeding only a week after my period ended and I am still waiting for the spotting to stop a week later. The nurse at my gyno practice said it could take up to 6 months for my body to get used to the pill. It has been pretty concerning given that naturally my period cycle was very consistent and regular. I haven't had any other side effects from Slynd other than the irregular bleeding/spotting. |

For Birth Control: On my fourth ring now and still no period. Been having to buy pregnancy tests once a month now but not pregnant, very bloated, decreased libido and idk if its just me but my brain has been slow and foggy lately
