For Epilepsy "We added vigabatrin to the last two weeks of ACTH injections, and our 5-month baby’s seizures stopped within 24 hrs. The combo drugs had a very irate baby for a week, but then most side effects calmed, and his smiles, laughs, and personality came back 100%. The only real side effect we have on vigabatrin currently is insomnia – our baby is wide awake for hours during the night, playing and babbling, he’s pretty happy though."

Vigabatrin for Seizures "It is a good medicine. I used it for my daughter. She was one year old when we found she had seizures. One doctor suggested this medicine when she was 5 years old. Around 1 and a half years, I used Sabril, what the doctor suggested. Then when she was 7 years, my daughter was completely fine. Now she is 12 years old, she has no problem with seizures."
