For Depression "Effexor XR caused me to develop dangerously high blood pressure, so I had to come off them. The withdrawals were horrendous."

For Generalized Anxiety Disorder "Effexor XR treated my anxiety very effectively. It did cause some emotional blunting and sweating. It was difficult to quit because of the withdrawal symptoms."

For Anxiety "Did not do much for chronic anxiety or depression, only really felt effects when forgot to take a dose. Very drastic withdrawal was felt."
