For Schizophrenia "I want to write a review on Cobenfy. I have tried so many antipsychotics: Rexulti, Abilify, Latuda, Olanzapine, Invega, Seroquel, and found that some worked really well on my brain but caused me a lot of problems with my body. So my psychiatrist decided to prescribe me Cobenfy. I was pretty scared to try it, but I did, and I’m pretty impressed how well this pill works. I’ll be writing another review because I just started this medication. I feel pretty good, not tired or drowsy. And insurance covered it right away. They did a prior authorization when I went to the Fred Meyer pharmacy to pick it up. A pharmacist told me I’m the first one to get it, and I thought to myself I should write a review, but this is probably the best medicine I’ve tried."

For Schizophrenia "I was very excited to start Cobenfy after 30 years of typical and atypical antipsychotics. Cobenfy is designed entirely different than the atypical antipsychotics. I started the sample pack, which had two days of 50 mg. I felt overheated and dizzy but decided to try the third day dose of 100 mg. At 100 mg, I was sweating so severely that I just sat in an air-conditioned room in the winter. My psychiatrist put me back on 50 mg. I tolerated 50 mg better but was still sweating and dizzy. I tried it for one month, and during this time, my paranoia became worse. I stopped the medication after one month."

"I was prescribed Cobenfy 100/20 mg to get off of Invega Sustenna because I was starting to develop symptoms of tardive dyskinesia with it. I was on Invega Sustenna for years, I was on the 156 mg monthly injection. I took my first dose of Cobenfy at the end of January of this year. My last dose of Invega Sustenna was in February. I am so glad that Cobenfy is available. I and other people have noticed that I am a lot more with it, I am happier. Invega made my surroundings come in a lot less clear. When I am not on an antipsychotic, the world around me is too vivid, and I don’t feel well. As of recently, Invega Sustenna has started to leave my system maybe completely. I look at the flowers and trees, and for the first time in a very, very long time, they look really pretty and something that I see and enjoy. I am more than happy with Cobenfy. My tardive dyskinesia symptoms have completely gone away. This medication is the best thing that has happened to me as far as my mental health goes, yay, yay, yay!!"

For Schizophrenia "I feel like I've tried all the antipsychotics on the market. None of them have made my positive symptoms even remotely manageable, so as a last desperate measure, my psychiatrist put me on Cobenfy in November 2024. After several months, it's like my positive symptoms are gone. My only consistent side effect is blurry vision, but that's corrected when I put on my glasses, and I've been wearing glasses since 2018. I don't normally encounter side effects with typical meds, so not experiencing them with Cobenfy should be taken into account. I have lost a considerable amount of weight since starting Cobenfy. With all the other antipsychotics I've tried, I was binge eating because my brain never told me that I was full. Since starting Cobenfy, my brain tells me that I am full, so I began eating less. No medication is a miracle drug, but since starting Cobenfy, I have been able to manage my disorder in ways I never have been able to before."
