"I started out one month ago on the lowest dose of 2.5. I could tell after a few weeks that my hunger had diminished a bit, and I felt a lot less bloated. By the 4th week, I was feeling extremely cold and fatigued and had lost 5 lbs. I just started this week on the next dosage of 5.0 and am hoping for more weight loss. I barely have an appetite, and nothing really sounds good to me other than apples. Thankfully, my glucose readings have come down, and I'm not needing as much insulin. I’m very hopeful that my A1C will be much better on my next labs."

"In about 2 months, I lost 18 pounds on Mounjaro 7.5. The only side effect I had was constipation, which was easily relieved by MiraLax and some extra water. It was so easy to use. I am happy with the results! The downside is the killer-high price."

"Very happy with this experience. Finally, something that works for me personally. I have not experienced any side effects with this medication. I am losing weight, which is the reason for me taking this medication. In two months, I have lost a total of 17 pounds. I do have a lot more to go, but I am hopeful I will be able to reach my goal. Started at 2.5 the first month, 2nd month 5. Mid-Jan, I will begin the 3rd month. I am 75 years young. Thanks, MJ!"

"I have used Ozempic, Saxenda, and Wegovy and changed due to shortages, nausea, or not getting results. Been on Mounjaro for 1 month at 2.5. I have lost 2.8 kilos. No nausea and no desire to eat or pig out. My IBS/bloating has significantly reduced too. However, I eat small, healthy meals of protein, salads, and some fruit. I am very conscious of eating nutritious food and drinking lots of water. Mounjaro is expensive (in Australia), but it so far is the best product for me."

"Started on 2.5 for 4 weeks, lost 4.5 kg, forgot to eat, total loss of appetite, felt dizzy, probably because I wasn't drinking enough water. Week 5, went to 5 mg, lost just over 1 kg. Now in week 6, have been constipated, having to take laxative, will finish the 5 mg jab another 2 weeks and see how I feel. Amazing result in never hungry and, as a crisp lover, could never have another packet with all the salt, yuk! Usually have chicken fillets, chips, and bread and butter, just don't want bread at all, can only have two small chicken pieces, nothing else, and only because I know I have to eat something. Went to McDonald's with the grandkids, haven't told anyone I'm on this drug. Kids were happy as Nana couldn't finish her burger and chips. Have started craving fruit, which I never eat, will try and carry on and see if I can be sensible."

"I'm a white male, 51. In October 2023, I weighed 312 pounds and was pre-diabetic. My doctor prescribed 2.5 Mounjaro. I've been taking it since then. As of July 25, I've dropped 74 pounds, or about 24% of my starting weight. I have not noticed any impactful side effects. Exercise changes: • yoga 3x per week • 2.6-mile walk 4x per week • 30 minutes elliptical 3x per week. Diet changes: • no sugary drinks - no Coke, no Starbucks • no candy or other junk food • more nuts, proteins, salads • no food after 8 pm. I feel great!"

"Let me preface this by saying I’m extremely sensitive to medication and have terrible IBS. Mounjaro was Godsent. I lost 45lbs in about 9 months on this. While I did have days of bad GI side effects, I could usually trace it to eating something I shouldn’t have. Gotta eat clean on this to avoid those side effects. Otherwise, I did great. I will say on day 2/3 after the shot, I was always really tired and cold. It always passed, but I still planned for it. Give it a go!"

"Minimal weight loss in 5 weeks. Continual feeling of acidic stomach, some reflux. Constipation if not taking a stool softener. It has decreased my appetite. It also lets me know if I eat a food high in flour or sugar with severe acid reflux. Overall, I feel miserable while on it."

"Immediately my appetite decreased. I am in my early 70s, always had to watch my weight but was never obese. I just could not lose weight then Monjaro, the miracle drug, came into my life. I’ve been taking this for nine months and I have lost 40 pounds. That is such a miracle for me. I have been on 7.5 for months. They say don’t overeat because it will make you sick, but I don’t know how it’s possible to overeat when I had to force myself to eat. I was a little nauseous in the beginning, but I have learned not to have too much fat or sugar in my diet. The first couple of days after the injection, I feel like a new person. I look like a different person. I am so very grateful for this drug. I heard about it through a friend of my daughter. I say God bless that friend every day!"

"I am currently on day 2 taking Mounjaro injection 2.5. I have definitely lost all cravings to graze on food throughout the day, as a chef, this is great and very positive. I have no side effects so far apart from feeling thirsty and drink plenty of water."

"I have had great success, I have gone from 332 in the doctor's office to 259 naked at home. The last month has slowed considerably, only losing 5 pounds. I would like to lose another 30. My only concern is this last weekend I experienced an Afib episode, I had never had this before. Is there a connection between Mounjaro and Afib?"

"I'm on my 6th dose as of today. I started 12/30/2023 at 2.5mg for 2 weeks and then increased to 5mg on 1/13/2024. I have lost 12 lbs so far. Prior to starting this medication, I was unable to lose weight no matter what I tried. I even resorted to almost starving myself, but my weight kept increasing. It was a defeating experience. In my 40s, I was always slim, but in my 60s, my weight became a problem. I was diagnosed with Metabolic Syndrome and was at risk of developing Pre-Diabetes. As I continue with the medication, I am learning about what foods I can and cannot eat due to the side effects. These side effects include feeling nauseous or having trouble with bowel movements. I have found that lean meat, vegetables, and whole fruits work well for me. I focus on consuming whole foods and avoid processed foods and sugar. I have also discovered that bananas help with my stomach issues. During weeks 2-4, I experienced instant headaches and occasional nausea. I have adjusted my eating schedule and now ensure that I eat early in the evening, with no food consumption after 6-7pm, except for fluids. Additionally, I have started taking Magnesium Gummies and occasionally having a piece of sugar-free hard candy to help with bowel movements and to combat any unpleasant aftertaste from certain foods sitting in my stomach."

"I was able to take this for 3 months and lost 25 lbs, the best thing to help me lose weight effectively. I am really disappointed that my insurance stopped covering it as it was actually working. I was lucky as I did not have any side effects."

"It's a very effective drug for obese patients. Diabetic patients can also take this medicine because it's working very effectively for these kinds of patients. Weight loss doesn't happen overnight, and it could take up to 18 months to get the results you're looking for from Mounjaro. You can expect to lose 6% of your body weight after two months, 9% after three months, and 11% after four months. But by the 18-month mark, Mounjaro patients experience around 21% weight loss."

"I’ve been on Mounjaro for 12 weeks and along with a careful diet and more activity, have lost 34 pounds. My A1C is down 1 point and my high blood pressure has improved dramatically. My arthritis symptoms have also decreased substantially. The only adverse effect is constipation but I deal with that on an ongoing basis and is a small price for the immense good this medication has done. It has changed my life and I wish I could have started it a few years ago."

"I'm very new to this drug. It's only my 2nd week using it. I'm a 47-year-old very active woman. I don't have loads of weight to shift, probably around 2 and a half stone. Over the last 4 years, I've lost around 4 stone on my own and kept it off, but I can't seem to lose the remaining, so I thought I would give it a go. I read hundreds of reviews about the drug, so I was aware of all of the side effects and prepared for them as part of the course. I'm now 10 days into it, and I haven't had 1 side effect. I don't know if I'm just one of the lucky ones, but I'm not complaining. I started on a Wednesday morning weighing in at 13st 9lbs. By the following Wednesday, I was 13st 5lbs. It's now 5 days on from that, and I'm down to 13st 2lbs. I'm honestly shocked by the results. I have no regrets from using it and look forward to the end results."

"I have been using faithfully. Started at the lowest dose and now at 7.5 mg. Not losing any weight yet. I am going up one more dose to see if that helps. My blood work looks like everything is going down. That's one benefit."

"Been taking 2.5 ml for only 3 weeks now but have lost nearly 6 kg. I had one mouth ulcer the first week and one the second but none since, so possibly not related. The beginnings of constipation this week, but I increased my fiber intake, and I am now fine. No stomach cramping, but I was recommended to take a magnesium supplement before starting Mounjaro to head those off. I continue to take it. No cramping so far. No other symptoms. I do have Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, high cholesterol, and fatty liver disease. I simply had to lose weight. I have given up smoking 3 times in the past 4 years and gained 10 kg every time. (I don't smoke now.) I am 59. This medication is saving my life. If I lose weight again this week, I will stay on the low dose for another month. Appetite suppression has been very strong since week 1. The KWIK pen is so simple and pain-free. I live in Australia."

"Just took my 4th shot yesterday, so far, very few side effects. I have already noticed I'm not eating as much. So far, it seems to have cut my appetite between 1/4 and 1/2, and I have to remind myself to eat little things throughout the day. But other than that, I have already lost about 23 lbs, and I feel good. I started out weighing 298, down to 275 as of now. I move up to the next dose starting next week. Will update again as I go along. Fingers crossed the weight loss and diabetes continue to stay under control, as I have a lot to lose and so, so much to gain at this point."

"Within 30 days, I lost 19 pounds and my appetite is satisfied with an extremely small amount of food. Sugary food is NOT a good idea because it will give you diarrhea. Headache and fatigue when I went from 2.5 to 5. My doctor, the best ever, said she is going to keep me on 5 because she doesn’t think I’ll need the 7.5. Fatigue is only two days after taking injection. I’m sure my A1C will be lowered as I am pre-diabetic. I went from 222.8 to 203.3. I’m Afro and Native American (mix) and I’m thankful to the Lord for this medicine. I expect to be 175 by March which is my goal."

"I highly recommend this drug. I have lost about 30 pounds in about 15 weeks. I had trouble losing weight my entire life, but this drug has been amazing. I don't lose weight as fast as I thought I would, given the media hype, but am very satisfied at 2 lbs/week without trying that hard. You just don't eat as much without even thinking about it. Even in weeks where I thought I ate too much, I lost a pound, so go for it. I have no side effects yet, but I am just beginning the 10 mg dose next week. My doctor has been step staring me from 2.5 to 5 to 7.5 every month. Cholesterol, blood pressure, and blood sugar/A1C are all down noticeably."

"I started Mounjaro on July 1. Weighing in at 255, I took the 2.5 dose and am on my 4th shot. So far, no side effects, and I have lost 15 lbs. I am 70 and have stage 3 kidney disease. In August, I will begin taking the 5 mg dose and hope to continue with more weight loss."

"It's like someone flicked a switch and my food cravings and the need to completely eat every meal vanished. Coupled with not eating unhealthy food routinely and exercise, I lost over 50 lbs in 5 months. I am now on maintenance of 5 mg. Side effects include, from month 3, feeling cold far more often and more like an inner chill than just my skin. From month 6 (recent weeks), I have been experiencing itchiness and a mild rash on my upper torso and back. The weight loss has been remarkable, and the side effects minor given the greater health benefits of the weight loss."

"2.5 mg/wk for 8 months, went from 234 lb to 170. Had stomach cramps at first that worsened with a higher dose. The lower dose worked well enough. Have been off of it for 2 months with little change to established weight and eating habits, so far, no weight gain."
