"I have had great success with Mounjaro. I switched from Ozempic and the weight just started falling off. I feel like something was broken in me that is now fixed. I normally lose about 2 lbs a week on a 1200 calorie diet. My weight loss has gone from 2 lbs a week to 4-5 lbs a week. I don't understand how it works but I'm happy with my results."

"I’m a 58-year-old woman. When I started Mounjaro I was at 172lbs. I am taking 5mg. On the first injection of 5mg I had hives but the next day with allergy medication it went away. I had a little bit of nausea off and on every time I took an injection. The worst part about this medicine is I feel cold all the time and fatigued. The fatigue goes away after a couple of days. I just took my 4th injection of 5 mg and will move up to 7.5mg next week. So far all good. I did notice I got pretty hungry 2 days before it was time to take my 4th 5mg injection which to me said it lost its effectiveness. I did struggle with those 2 days trying not to go back to old habits. I have lost 20 lbs since starting Mounjaro and all of my blood work is much much better. My A1C is down 2 points!"

"You do lose weight, but the waves of nausea, vomiting, severe constipation and hypoglycemia are so unpleasant, and if you escalate and find it too much - it lasts for a whole week. Consider liraglutide daily, much easier to titrate and if you escalate and find it too much can lower down and only have one day of downtime."

"First injection 5mg, 3 days ago and no issues with the injection but I do feel extremely tired! I’m not one to nap ever unless sick and I have napped the last 2 days. Also, very hard to eat, just don’t want to and the food does taste different but I just make myself eat small amounts throughout the day and drink lots of water. The weirdest thing is that I’m feeling cold!! We live in Florida by the beach, it's 104 degrees outside and I’m inside with a sweatshirt on, long pants, and my husband's thick socks."

"Started Mounjaro 5 months ago. Starting weight was 168. Had gained 30 lbs through several rounds of IVF. At 41 years old, the weight would not come off. Fast forward now 42, I consulted my Dr. and was prescribed Mounjaro. First 2 weeks mild nausea at lunchtime. So switched from a protein bar to banana. Stopped the nausea. Had a weird dislike for coffee, which I love. That never went away while taking Mounjaro. I ate very clean, chicken and veggies for dinner. Small plate, completely full. Increased my dosage slowly month to month and incorporated different foods. Only twice I had a very bad stomach reaction: ice cream and pizza. Do not recommend. As of today, I have been off Mounjaro for 2.5 weeks. Still losing weight! Down 44 lbs, feel great. Bloodwork is perfect. And this has forever changed my life for the better. Miracle drug! Healthier, happier, and hoping one day it is approved for weight-loss."

"I was happy with the weight loss, but recently found out that I have developed pancreatitis. I don't drink, and I've never had pancreatitis before, so my doctor says it's due to the Mounjaro, and that I need to stop taking it. I'm bummed because I had lost 20 pounds and still need to lose 40 more."

"Immediately my appetite decreased. I am in my early 70s, always had to watch my weight but was never obese. I just could not lose weight then Monjaro, the miracle drug, came into my life. I’ve been taking this for nine months and I have lost 40 pounds. That is such a miracle for me. I have been on 7.5 for months. They say don’t overeat because it will make you sick, but I don’t know how it’s possible to overeat when I had to force myself to eat. I was a little nauseous in the beginning, but I have learned not to have too much fat or sugar in my diet. The first couple of days after the injection, I feel like a new person. I look like a different person. I am so very grateful for this drug. I heard about it through a friend of my daughter. I say God bless that friend every day!"

"I have had great success with Mounjaro and experienced very few side effects. The injection site gets an itchy welt, but that isn't troublesome. It initially caused constipation, but that cleared up as soon as I started taking a stool softener at night. I no longer have food cravings for sugary treats, and I feel full much longer and am able to avoid overeating. I lost 45 lbs in 6 months, which was 25% of my body weight. I am using it with diet and exercise for the best results."

"I have lost 45 lbs. with Tirzepatide. I dieted down from 265 to 215 on my own. Started Tirzepatide at 215 lbs in April, continued my dieting and exercise and titrated up to 15 MG. 5 months later I am now at a goal weight of 170 lbs. There are side effects but they are diminishing as my body has learned to tolerate the drug. I no longer feel uncontrollable hunger... for the first time in my life I have experienced satiety."

"Female Age: 61, 5'7, starting weight: 223, current weight 183 (lost 40 lbs!), goal weight 145. This has been over a period of 5 months. I did not rely on Mounjaro alone, I have put in hard work with exercise (walking 3 miles, 3 x's/week) and cut out all carbs and sugar. Side effects I experienced at first: mild nausea, weird cold chills and exhaustion. Now I am used to it and have very little side effects. Currently taking 12.5 dose. Love it, I feel amazing and luckily my insurance covers it 100%."

"I have used Mounjaro for several months for weight loss, along with Phentermine and Topamax, under the supervision of my doctor. I had lost over 135 pounds without it in 2 years, but still had 30 pounds to lose to be at a healthy weight. The combination of the three medications, including Mounjaro, was helping significantly. It helped me feel fuller longer, control portions, and appetite! I also changed my diet. However, my insurance denied me from taking it. Now in 3 weeks, I have gained 8 pounds, even with my diet change."

"I’ve been on Mounjaro for 12 weeks and along with a careful diet and more activity, have lost 34 pounds. My A1C is down 1 point and my high blood pressure has improved dramatically. My arthritis symptoms have also decreased substantially. The only adverse effect is constipation but I deal with that on an ongoing basis and is a small price for the immense good this medication has done. It has changed my life and I wish I could have started it a few years ago."

"I started Mounjaro exactly 7 days ago. I'm 6'4'' and was 320.5 lbs. Today, on day 7, I'm 309 lbs. I'm walking 3 miles a day. I was on 25 units of Humalog and 50 units of Lantus twice a day, and now I'm off insulin. I know I can't expect that kind of weight loss to continue, but my food portions have significantly decreased. For example, a couple of weeks ago, I would have had an English Muffin with two eggs and 3 sausage patties to fill up. Today, I had a piece of toast and one fried egg on top. I'm full right now! I previously tried Ozempic, and it gave me bad headaches, significant itching, and a feeling of sickness. I get slight itching on Mounjaro, no headache, and it appears that my bowel movements are actually very healthy compared to before taking the drug. I just hope this drug doesn't have any significant side effects that I don't know about!"

"What a miracle this drug is. I am a 66-year-old female and has been a size 22, weighing 247 lbs most of my life. My blood pressure and arthritis were getting worse, so I spoke with my doctor about helping me lose some weight. She suggested Mounjaro but said most insurance companies didn’t cover the cost. Well, I was approved and received my first three months' supply in December. I took my first shot on Dec 14. Today, January 2, I am down to 236 lbs, lost 11 lbs in three weeks. My goal is 180 lbs. "Within 30 days, I lost 19 pounds and my appetite is satisfied with an extremely small amount of food. Sugary food is NOT a good idea because it will give you diarrhea. Headache and fatigue when I went from 2.5 to 5. My doctor, the best ever, said she is going to keep me on 5 because she doesn’t think I’ll need the 7.5. Fatigue is only two days after taking injection. I’m sure my A1C will be lowered as I am pre-diabetic. I went from 222.8 to 203.3. I’m Afro and Native American (mix) and I’m thankful to the Lord for this medicine. I expect to be 175 by March which is my goal."

"T2 and overweight. 335 lbs down to 299 lbs inside of 90 days on 10 mg. Mounjaro. Much to do with loss of lifetime panic eating (lost in first 2 weeks). Interruption, hospital for a week, full-time antibiotics due to infection, poor hospital food regained weight. Migrated to 12.5 and now 15 mg. to continue closing 2023 and moving into 2024. No side effects. A1c holding at 5.6/5.7 for the last 1.5 years."

"I'm a type 2 diabetic, controlled without medication until I recently tried first Metformin, no response, then endocrinologist recommended Ozempic but primary put me on Mounjaro, 2.5 for 3 weeks, no response, 5 for 3 weeks & appetite only abetted one day before increase to 7.5. I had lost control of eating after having been on reduced calories, increased activity since January 1, averaging about 1 pound a week before bingeing returned me to previous weight. I lost 5 with Metformin, merely returning to before binge. In six weeks on Mounjaro, I’ve lost 8 pounds. Side effects minimal, constipation dealt with once with Dificafunic, but now eat bran flakes daily. I take probiotics as Greek yogurt and within last week added collagen with coffee which seemed to boost last pound. My meals have decreased but only one day recently have I experienced loss of appetite. Today I started 7.5, feel no differently. to Jan. 1, weight 277. Start of Mounjaro, 268, now 260."

"I've been taking Mounjaro 50 units for 3 weeks and I've lost 12 lbs. I weighed 180 when I started and now weigh 168. I've had no adverse side effects. I also have arthritis and Mounjaro has gotten me well enough that I have quit taking Humira for my arthritis. Mounjaro is a wonder drug. I love it."

"I highly recommend this drug. I have lost about 30 pounds in about 15 weeks. I had trouble losing weight my entire life, but this drug has been amazing. I don't lose weight as fast as I thought I would, given the media hype, but am very satisfied at 2 lbs/week without trying that hard. You just don't eat as much without even thinking about it. Even in weeks where I thought I ate too much, I lost a pound, so go for it. I have no side effects yet, but I am just beginning the 10 mg dose next week. My doctor has been step staring me from 2.5 to 5 to 7.5 every month. Cholesterol, blood pressure, and blood sugar/A1C are all down noticeably."

"Many friends have had various reactions to the shots. One had severe cramps and stopped using. In a couple of weeks, the camps went away. I am on 2.5 going into my 4th week. I get some stomach gurgling, but the main reaction is constipation. I was very regular before usage. I use OTC drugs to manage the problem. After the 4th. week am going on 5.0. My weight loss so far is 7 lbs. I started at 219. To go along with the shots. I put myself on a low carb diet. Lots of protein and Fiber."

"Works great in having you feel fuller faster. Drawback is the constipation. But this medicine does slow the digestive system. One taking this medicine has to realize this. Food stays in our stomachs longer, hence it moves slower through the intestines and colon."
