For Trichomoniasis "My husband cheated on me, and I got this awful smell. Went to the doctor and almost fainted when I found out I had trichomoniasis and bacterial vaginitis, but I took these pills. I am allergic to Flagyl, and so I was scared because I’m allergic to most antibiotics, but the pharmacist told me to eat and then 30 minutes before I take the four pills to take a Benadryl, so I did that. Now I no longer have a smell and left my husband, and so they told me to wait a month to get rechecked. I will probably go back before then. I was so ashamed of myself, like I’ve never had a smell, and I was so ashamed of that, but I don’t smell now, so just waiting for this time to get rechecked. Needless to say, I was tired and had a little upset stomach, probably because I didn’t eat enough, but I’m feeling better and back to my old self. This seems to be a lot better than the clindamycin gel. That stuff took the smell away, but in three days it was back. I was like, oh no. This medicine I heard works - we will see."

For Giardiasis "I was terrified to take this tinidazole for giardia. I took 1 pill to see what it would do in the height of my infection. It did give me diarrhea. Later (a week), I took the correct dose, all 4 in a day but a couple of hours apart. It wasn't bad. I did get a metallic taste, my stomach rumbled, but other than that, I was fine. I did make sure to eat a big meal first, take lots of water, and avoid anything with alcohol. Unfortunately, after 3 weeks, I believe the giardia is back. Not sure if because I had so bad, or it's something else? These reviews really scare people. Unfortunately, everyone is different. I am sensitive and was able to take this, however, I would not recommend if your stomach is in a horrible state. When I took the first pill, I couldn’t even eat a piece of bread without pain. Try not to take it when your stomach is completely out of whack. Get yourself a bit together first. This is a strong medicine on your stomach. Have some graham crackers on hand and kefir to keep coating your tummy. Good luck."

For Bacterial Vaginosis "Well, today is Wednesday. I just took 4 pills, my 1st day. So, I think I got BV because of damp swimsuits while vacationing in Cancun. We did snorkeling, swimming at the pool, and cave swimming 4 days in a row. I practically lived in swimsuits. Anyway, on top of this, I also ate something, and I've had vomiting, stomach cramps, and diarrhea. This pill takes care of it all together. As I'm typing this, I can taste the metallic taste, but it's not too bad. I just wouldn't handle more puking or diarrhea. I'll let y'all know in 3 days."

For Bacterial Vaginosis "I used to take 2 pills as a single dosage. It made me nauseous, and it made anything I ate or drank taste horrible. I was taking this pill for bacterial vaginitis, and 2 days later I had a yeast infection! Worse and even frightening that the mild itch I was having, accompanied with stomach ache and cramps."

For Bacterial Vaginosis "I have had BV since my daughter was born. 8 years. Metro, both pills and gel, would not cut it. Finally, I'm on tinidazole and I feel the pain from BV going away! My stomach cramps were unbearable! The next day, I felt better! BUT I googled this 'why do I taste metal,' and I smell it too. This site popped up! So glad to hear it works! My teeth hurt too. No nausea, though... a few sharp pains. But, could be related to my hernia issues. Hope this helps! I am taking 2 pills daily for 7 days. I will report back when I go into OB for results."
