For Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia "Constant headaches and mental paralysis, could not move or get up. That was with 2 mg. It suddenly stopped working at all. Side effects were horrific, and withdrawal symptoms worse than opiates, could hardly think or move for 2 weeks. I found Cialis worked without side effects."

For Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia "Poison for me. Did not work, and side effects have not stopped even after discontinuation of use. *Dizziness: to the point of having to lie down-several times a day. *Digestive: weight gain. Feeling bloated and belly extension, even when hungry. *Headache: less often now, yet more prevalent than ever had before. I'm usually tolerant of most medications. This was not the case with this. Been off for a month and still having side effects, especially digestive. I'd be careful if this is of concern to you."

"I've tried 2 different alpha blockers, and both have the same effect: headache and dizziness, but it does help with urine flow. At 63, I have normal BP, this medicine, unfortunately, makes me hypotensive."

Terazosin for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia "I hit 28 on the PSA test, was prescribed Hytrin, and gradually went from 1 to 5 pills a night. After a couple of weeks or so, the side effects were so bad I had to stop taking it. Intense headaches, nausea. It was unpleasant. Awaiting my doctor to find something else. On the 'plus' side, after a month, my PSA went from 28.3 to 8.8, and I have no trouble peeing."
