For Narcolepsy "I got the free trial of 15 Sunosi pills. When I started using it, I didn't feel any better, still felt very tired. On the 2nd day of use, I started getting a bad headache and still felt really tired. I also checked my blood pressure, it was starting to get higher than normal, and my stomach was starting to bother me. After the 3rd day, my stomach got worse, still had a bad headache, and blood pressure was getting higher, some slight chest pain. So after that, I stopped taking it, and now it's been a week since I have been off of it, and no headache or stomach problems, and blood pressure is down. The only thing I know is all the drugs that I have taken for narcolepsy had bad side effects, and they all seem to be a bandage to fix the problem. I hate all of these meds because no one knows what damage you're doing to your body taking these meds, that's why none of this stuff is good for you."

For Obstructive Sleep Apnea/Hypopnea Syndrome "I've been taking Sunosi for around two months for OSA. I started at 75 mg daily, and I've been taking 150 mg for about two weeks. It is probably important to note that I also take 250 mg of Nuvigil and 20-60 mg of Adderall daily as well. I started the Sunosi with the goal of stopping the Adderall. My diagnosis is severe OSA with excessive daytime sleepiness. Narcolepsy was ruled out, although I experience restless legs and occasional sleep paralysis. I hold my breath in my sleep and wake up feeling like I am suffocating because I cannot force myself to breathe. I have used a CPAP regularly for more than 10 years, and the data shows that my sleep apnea is well controlled. But even so, I sleep between 15 to 18 hours per day. Sunosi was ineffective at 75 mg. At 150 mg, I am awake but too fatigued to do anything. It has caused anxiety, headaches, excessive sweating, nausea, and diarrhea."

"So, about 3 weeks ago, my neurologist gave me a trial for Sunosi since Ritalin wasn't doing anything to improve my EDS. I have idiopathic hypersomnia, and it is honestly a struggle even with the medication I currently have, modafinil. I've been on modafinil for about 2 years now, 200 mg twice daily. It helps, but it doesn't do enough. When the doctor gave me Sunosi, I thought maybe this one would be the one that helps. I was wrong. I barely notice a difference in my wakefulness, and on top of that, the side effects are awful. I feel like I can't catch a full breath, I'm getting dizzy all the time, my eyes feel like they can't focus properly, and the tremors are fairly severe. I can't hold anything steady, and my legs are extremely shaky as if I've just done a marathon. The headache is awful, and it makes me feel like I'm slightly detached from my own body. My chest feels tight, and I'm always nauseous. I have felt off for about a week now, with the symptoms worsening. Not the drug for me."

For Narcolepsy "I feel like I’m going to crawl out of my skin. I’m cold, shaky, no sexual desire. I’m in autopilot or highly anxious. My teeth hurt, my head hurts, I have indigestion."
