For Narcolepsy "I had spent months just eating enough to live. Going to the store was too much effort. Sleep, depression, not getting up or out, the world will forget you exist. My psych added Sunosi and a half dose of one of the drugs that had faded results years ago, 6 weeks ago. It was about 2 weeks before I was getting up and dressed most days. Then every day. (TBI survivor 2004) Fatigue, sleep, and on-task energy have been some of my longest battles after injury. Sunosi has helped lift me from a 6 or 8-month very deep slump. It has worked where other drugs did not. [Many of us react differently to each drug, this one works well for me.]"

For Obstructive Sleep Apnea/Hypopnea Syndrome "Been on Sunosi 150 mg daily for approx. a year and a half. Initially, seemed to work pretty well. No more daytime sleepiness and fatigue. As time has passed, the positive effects I used to experience have evaporated. I take a dose early in the morning, and I'm falling asleep by 10:00 a.m. I had the same results with a 200 mg daily dose of Modafinil, which I took before the Sunosi. Frustrating."

For Narcolepsy "I have chronic fatigue. We are not all the same. I get about 3 hours of awakeness and then sleep until about 8 p.m. Then by 11:00 I sleep for an hour and a half unless I take diazepam. At maximum dosage, I get 5-6 hours of sleep. What works for some will not work for others. We know the source of the problem - hypothalamic dysfunction. I go this week because the left vestibular artery is missing, which feeds oxygen and blood to the brain. For most doctors, this is all a big guess. Sunosi was my 4th medication to basically fail. But for others, it may work well."

For Narcolepsy "Sunosi is very disappointing so far. Disturbing my husband's sleep more, as he is having more awakenings. Not seeing much difference after taking, except more irritable. Also, cannot seem to stay awake for long at all during the day, and when he is awake, no motivation, fatigued. So far, does not look like the drug for him. Better on older stimulants."
