For Narcolepsy "I was excited to try Sunosi because I've seen it advertised as having 'long-term efficacy,' implying tolerance doesn't occur like with traditional stimulants. I'm on my third month at 150 mg. The first month was good. I felt more awake, I didn't need to nap, and I could focus. Second month, I started napping almost every day, but they weren't particularly refreshing naps. Third month, I'm completely unable to focus and am in a constant brain fog. I find myself reading sentences 3 or 4 times over because I'm so out of it. I feel like I've developed a tolerance, so I'm going to stop taking it for a few days and see if it gets better."

For Narcolepsy "Have tried Provigil, Nuvigil, and now Sunosi, all max doses, over the recommended doses, with Dr. instruction. They work for about a month, but then the cons greatly outweigh the benefits for me. Either they only last 4 hours, then I crash and burn, or I'm still struggling to stay awake, or I feel sick, or have brain fog and am unmotivated and totally useless. This has been very difficult for someone who has to work two jobs to make ends meet. I did not want to have to use the stronger stimulants because addiction runs in my family. And the crashes are harder, so I hear. But I don't think I have a choice. I don't want to live like this. Hopefully, this works better for others, but based on these reviews here, seems like the majority say not really."
