"I've been taking Wegovy since September (2024). I initially did not like the way it made me feel. I was experiencing constipation, headaches, and nausea. My next dose was 0.50, which the pharmacy was out of until this past April 2025. I was determined to see if I could withstand the side effects. My appetite was suppressed immediately. I experienced constipation, which I counteracted with stool softeners every day. I took Zofran for the nausea. I had started riding my stationary bike around the same time that I started Wegovy. On April 17th, 2025, I started walking 30 minutes a day. I am now at a 1.7 dose. Side effects are minimal. I noticed that if I am constipated, I would get nauseous. Stay away from heavy grease. I consume a protein shake every morning and try to eat meat as much as I can as I do not really have a taste for meat or I no longer like alcohol. I am happy that I tried it again. I am 6'1" and was 283. I am 266. I want to be 240. Yay!"

"This medicine is life-changing! I have never felt more healthy physically and mentally. Food no longer controls my life. I eat to fuel my body and want to choose healthier options. I don't waste the little I do eat on empty calories. I'm not beating myself up for not having any willpower or making bad choices, and I'm not ashamed of the way I look. My knees don't hurt and I haven't been sick (cold or flu) much, if at all. The injection is painless, easy to administer, and so quick. I have not experienced any side effects. "My experience with Wegovy has been typical. I’ve experienced diarrhea and constipation, but all of it was manageable and comes and goes. I'm a believer. The medication is working for me. 45 lbs down in six months without working out due to a knee and back injury. I would 100% recommend it to anyone."

"Love this drug. I’ve lost 34 lbs with very little side effects. You do have to watch what you eat, some foods, especially fried foods, make you feel horrible. I’ve been on it for 1 year, which is good because I lost slowly, not all at once. The longer you keep the weight off. You do have to change your eating habits. In the beginning, I had a lot of heartburn, but I took OTC medicine, and eventually, I no longer had this problem. I’m not a big water drinker, so I’m trying to drink more water to help with constipation. You also have to limit your alcohol intake, so 1 glass of wine at dinner, and that’s it."

"I have had non-alcoholic fatty liver disease for 10 years. My first 5 years after diagnosis, my diet consisted of a very clean diet. Low sodium, 1000 mg per day, boneless chicken, salads, fruits, and vegetables. By year 6, after losing 20 pounds, my diet remained the same and I started gaining weight again. My last five years, I gained my 20 pounds back. I am closer to 50, do not drink alcohol, have been taking Wegovy now for 4 weeks, no symptoms or side effects. I still eat a very clean diet, I find I am full faster and for longer than in the past. I also stopped eating supper at 7:30 at night. I don’t wake up hungry in the morning and feel positive about my first 4 weeks. I also exercise by walking, take vitamin D3 and calcium, I have limited mobility for high-impact workouts because I have 8 herniated discs in my cervical spine, thoracic spine, and lumbar spine. My BMI is 35, I am 5’2” and weigh 197 pounds at the start."

"My experience so far has been excellent. I have had side effects, but for the most part have been minor. Since being on it, it has curbed my hunger. In short, I am just not hungry. "I am on my 10th dose of Wegovy now, and I have lost 9 kg already from 73 kg to 64 kg! I was struggling with my weight before and felt so much pain in my body. Now that I am on medication and have been losing weight, all that pain is gone. How amazing is that! My palpitations were gone too, and same with my cyst pain on the left ovary! It's been 3 months of using, and all I can say is it's working great for me! My workout routine is getting better too. "No adverse side effects. Just took 8th injection and last at 0.5 mg. Next week, dosage goes to 1 mg. Down 16 pounds in 7 weeks. I was already taking Metamucil every morning, so no constipation as some have reported, but I am having less bowel movements now. I imagine I would be constipated without it. Also take Nexium daily, so heartburn really hasn't been an issue more than it already was. Started at 6 ft and 251 pounds. Was 235 today. Goal is between 180 and 200."

"I started Wegovy in April 2024. I was 193 lbs at just between 5’1”-5’2.5. I had tried everything, but food noise and the fact that being so short, the calorie intake had to be so low to lose weight. Anyway, the first thing I noticed was a bit of nausea. That went away after a few days. I have had very minimal side effects. Sometimes a little nausea, constipation, or diarrhea. Nothing to really disrupt my life. For the first time in my life, I actually can tell when I am full. My IBS has been almost non-existent. I’m more awake. I have fewer sweet cravings. The food noise is still there, but my stomach is able to signal my brain that if I eat more, I will feel sick. I have lost to date 4/2024-3/2025, 63 lbs. I am just about to hit my normal weight goal. I knew how to lose the weight. I am someone who has a very difficult time shedding the weight with exercise and diet. I am super grateful for this opportunity to prove that a drug works so well."

"I've been on Wegovy since September 2024. To date, I've lost about 30 pounds. I've had very mild side effects, a little nausea occasionally, particularly the first few days after increasing dosage. I have ongoing GI issues that have made it worse a few times in the last 6 months, but nothing too serious. I was nervous about injecting myself weekly, but it has been relatively easy and painless for me. I'm finally getting clear signals to stop eating when I'm full. I used to think eating a full plate of pasta was no big deal, and now I eat less pasta in general, but if I do, I aim for no more than half, and usually it's closer to a third of a plate with the addition of a small side of non-starchy vegetables. I've been seeing a nutritionist too, and they've been so helpful in making lifelong diet changes. Right before I started taking Wegovy, I looked at the reviews on here and it nearly scared me away. I'm so glad it didn't. Wegovy has been such a helpful tool in my health journey."

"I've currently lost 12 kgs in 2 months, and due to the ongoing beneficial effects at .5, I've stayed at this dosage. However, I constantly feel dehydrated even though I'm drinking plenty of water throughout the day. The consequences are that I need to take laxatives at least once per week, or I have no bowel movements. Other than this inconvenience, all is good, and I'm still very happy with the results, which have left me feeling fitter and healthier."

"I have been on this drug for over two months, and it is fantastic. No side effects (just very mild in the first few days). I have stayed on the lowest dose of 0.25 mg so far, as I am losing weight gradually each week. I am eating healthily and keeping an eye on roughly how many calories I consume a day (this is so I don’t overeat or undereat. I want to have enough strength and energy for work and sport too). "From the very beginning, I began to lose weight and felt just fine. I lost the equivalent of a preteen child. I went from 265 to 189.
