For Bacterial Vaginosis "I took Solosec as prescribed about 1 hour ago, sprinkling it over a bowl of vanilla yogurt (many more granules than expected). I was not prepared for how bitter the taste was, I could not swallow it without gagging and holding my nose with each bite. I drizzled a heaping helping of honey in the yogurt, hoping it would cut the bitterness, but it was still unbearable, so I blended the remainder into a smoothie with frozen bananas and some extra honey. To my surprise, this ended up making the taste even MORE bitter. Then I noticed the directions on the package said not to grind up the granules (not sure why), but out of an abundance of caution (and unbearable bitterness), I tossed the rest of it down the drain. Hoping the half that I managed to swallow will actually work, hopefully, I don’t get too nauseous."

For Bacterial Vaginosis "Honestly, do not drink with this medication. I had a few Fireball nips, and I am so nauseous I had to make myself throw up."

For Bacterial Vaginosis "This medication tasted so bad, so hard to take. I could hardly finish it, and when I did, I threw up!"

For Bacterial Vaginosis "I used a coupon and got this medicine for $25 to cure my BV. I took this on a Friday around 10 a.m., and it has a horrible taste. I mixed it with strawberry applesauce and apple juice to help swallow, and it still was horrible. This medicine sat in my stomach and made me feel just really uneasy/uncomfortable. I did drink alcohol the same night I took, which was a mistake. I didn’t actually vomit, but I felt very nauseous. Today is now Sunday, and I still feel sick to my stomach, very uncomfortable. I do not recommend this medicine at all. It’s a one-time dose, but the sickness and nausea are not worth it. I’ll be taking the 5-7 days antibiotics from now on."
