For Bacterial Vaginosis "Where do I start? Well, I was one who read the reviews after taking it-wrong move. I have been sick for four days now. My doctor said this was a great med, well, that's because it's a new drug, and they want to push it on! I am fatigued, I feel anxious, and now I have thrush. I'm itching. Why in the world would you prescribe this when the cream worked fine for me? I am highly allergic to everything, so I am having a bad reaction to one of the ingredients. Stick to the old gal, seven days is better than feeling sick!"

For Bacterial Vaginosis "So I don’t think the taste is bad. Didn’t bother me at all. What bothers me is the awful side effects. For the past 3 days, I’ve had a migraine headache that won’t go away, extreme nausea, and fatigue. I've also developed a rash, but I'm unknown if it’s related. It cured my BV, BUT the negatives completely outweigh the positives. I will NEVER take this medication again."

For Bacterial Vaginosis "I took this medication 6 days ago and am unfortunately still having a really strange side effect of feeling like I’m sucking on a sour penny all the time. My tongue is yellow and tastes horribly sour and bitter, especially after eating a meal. My doctor's office has not heard of this as a side effect yet, but hopefully I’m not alone... I experienced nausea, fatigue, and a very strange bout of (oddly painless) diarrhea on day 4 that snuck up on me out of nowhere after eating a poke bowl from a place I always eat poke from with no issues - perhaps this medication and raw fish do not mix well? Anyway, I’d never take it again due to the weird yellow tongue, bitter taste, and dry mouth. As far as the BV symptoms go, I’m not really sure if it cured it. I’ve never had BV before and I originally went in for a yeast infection and got the result of yeast and BV to treat. Good luck to everyone taking it for the first time."

For Bacterial Vaginosis "I took Solosec in yogurt, and it still had an awful taste to it. I read there were no contraindications to drinking alcohol on this, so I had a beer. But that evening, I did not feel well: abdominal pain and nausea. I thought it may be the alcohol. But every time I eat, my stomach blows up, and I feel off. I’m very fatigued and unable to do my normal activities. I can’t wait for this to get out of my system. I can’t tell yet if my BV symptoms are gone, they were found incidentally on a regular pap."

For Bacterial Vaginosis "I have read many of these reviews and wonder if the people without these experiences just don't report it. I thought there was no taste to the medicine, just have to fight the urge to chew. A couple sips of water to rinse the rest out of my teeth was all that was needed. No metallic taste, nausea, fatigue, or any of the other side effects mentioned. I will, however, not chance the alcohol. This is the 2nd time I've used Solosec and have had good results. Also, only a $10 copay at the pharmacy my doctor recommended."
