Phenazopyridine for Dysuria "Azo is an awesome product for urinary tract infections that come on all of a sudden. It's been a Godsend for me on two occasions. The first time I used it was a year ago when I had a bad burning sensation from a bubble bath product I was allergic to. Then recently, I woke up on a Sunday with a terrible urinary tract infection. Without this product, I would have been in screaming pain until I got to the doctor."

Phenazopyridine for Interstitial Cystitis "I suffered for years for what I thought was a UTI. I have had Pentosan, DMSO instillations that made me smell like alfalfa, bladder distention, and Botox. This is the only medication that gives me a moment of peace. I am up 9 or 10 times every night to urinate because I cannot stand one drop of urine in my bladder as it burns. When I use Pyridium I am only up 3 times. I just wish I could use it daily."

Phenazopyridine for Dysuria "Took as directed along with antibiotics. Didn't do anything for me. Did not decrease burning sensation, urgency, or pain. My urine came out looking like a radioactive tequila sunrise. Not a repeat purchase for me."

For Dysuria "Bought Azo, and it didn't work for me at all. If anything, it made it worse! It still burns when I pee, and it's really painful and uncomfortable. The only difference this med made was changing the color of my urine to a dark orange-looking color."

"As of this writing, I had the UroLift procedure 6 days ago. How that is NOT the walk in the park that they marketed as is a whole different story. After the procedure, one of the medicines I was put on was Pyridium (obviously through insurance, I got that generic). If this is Pyridium providing a soothing analgesic effect to relieve the burning in my urethra when I urinate, I would really hate to see what it's like not being on it."

For Dysuria "I took one pill and felt as if I was burning more than before. I don't know if taking this medicine will help. Refuse to take another dose."

For Interstitial Cystitis "I have IC that flares with my endometriosis during periods. They are common co-morbid conditions, and it causes burning when I urinate. However, I never have a UTI. I've usually just suffered through it until my period ended, but I remembered AZO made this wonderful product similar to the prescription that my gynecologist gave me, and it helped immensely. No more burning when I pee! You do have to wear a pad and underwear that you don't care about if it gets stained because the pee turns BRIGHT orange, but it's a small price to pay. So happy to feel better."
