"I love Miebo. It totally corrects my dry eyes. I have a side effect that I wonder if anyone else experiences. Using Miebo causes a constant taste in my mouth. Luckily, it's not an unpleasant taste, but it causes my tongue to constantly be rubbing against my teeth and me sucking inside my mouth like I'm sucking on a piece of candy. This created the tip of my mouth to become sore, and I had to stop using Miebo for a few days."

"I feel like it may help my chronic dry eye condition, however, the bottle is much too small, not user-friendly, and seems to be a lot of product waste, especially for the price, when our insurance company won’t cover it. I feel like I’m getting headaches from it, unfortunately. Wonder if it can be refrigerated?"

"While I like the drops and they help me a lot, I get upset every time I use them because they run out of the eyes no matter how I twist my neck to make them stay in. It is a pity to waste so much of this very expensive product!"

"I've used Xiidra and cyclosporine for years with moderate success. Miebo made my eyes feel better in a few weeks. Too bad that they are so hard to use, the size of the drop is about 1/3 the size of other drops and makes it difficult to use. My first bottle (supposed to last 1 month) lasts 2 weeks. ($185 copay) $1,285.00 retail."

"Miebo eye drops are reasonably good for dry eyes and the effect lasts longer than conventional products. There are few side effects, mostly some blurriness and slight burning, which go away after a while. However, I am shocked that Bausch & Lomb is charging $900 for eye drops that are available over the counter in Europe and Asia for $20 or less. EvoTears are exactly the same product, same ingredient, same bottle, same size, everything is the same except the label and price. Look them up and see. B&L licensed EvoTears from the inventor in Germany and is now charging the US consumers 50 times what most of the world pays. There is no justification for this. At this price, Miebo is not cost-effective even with insurance. My copay is over $300, not worth it."

"I just started using Miebo today. I have had dry eye for so long, and there were no drops that were giving me any relief. I put the first drop in my eye, and it felt exactly like what I wanted it to feel like. It was like a gentle puff with immediate relief. Of course, then I put it in my other eye. I have taken three of the four doses, and I couldn't be more impressed with the immediate relief. There was absolutely no stinging and was only blurry for a few moments after I opened both eyes again. This is exactly the relief I have been looking for. Thank you so much!"

"I'm 74 years old, and my eye doctor was very concerned about the condition of my cornea and dry eyes, therefore, recommended Miebo. After using it for one month, my doctor was very happy with the results and said my cornea now looks normal. Side effects I had were eye redness and some blurry vision. I had absolutely no issues with putting the drops in my eyes four times a day, and the bottle did last about a month. My doctor wants me to stay on Miebo for another month but try using only three drops a day to possibly reduce redness and have another follow-up. The initial cost was expensive, but with my second bottle, the cost dropped 70% because of my drug coverage."

"I love Miebo, but the bottle is way too small. I run out before the month is over, and when I put it in my eyes it always runs down my face! You really need to make a bigger bottle that you can get a month's worth in your eyes, and change the bottle so the drops stay in your eyes."

"I just started the drops a week ago. I have started to see some improvement with my dry eyes. My issue is with the size and design of the bottle. There is no way this small amount will last 30 days. It is very difficult to dose 1 small drop out of this bottle. There is no room for error. Ease of use is poor!"

"Have had the same experience as many others - drops really work, but no way does that small bottle last as long as it should - only lasts about 1/2-2/3 of the time it is supposed to. Sometimes a big drop is dispensed and sometimes very little. When there is just a little left, nothing comes out at all. Am super careful following the directions, but never works to make it last. Miebo insists that the product is meant to last for the month. Not sure what planet they are broadcasting from!!!"

"I have tried many others, but Miebo is the only one for me. So perfect, and I love it. Only issue is the size of the bottle that is supposed to last 1 month. Using a drop four times a day as directed will simply not work for me. Being very careful and using it as directed, I can only get 17 days out of it. I am concerned that my pharmacy may not give me refills as I need them due to the manufacturer saying that it will last a month."

"Agree with others that the amount in the bottle is not enough for 4 applications per day for 1 month. It’s difficult to use per the instructions, and mine ran out with a week to go. Might try using only 3 times a day. Don’t know if it’s more important to use numerous times a day or for the full month."

"Agree with the others, the bottle is too small, and I’m terrible at giving myself eye drops, but I will tell you that it takes at least six weeks for it to actually work. But when it does, oh my gosh, what an amazing difference it has made!"

"Product is somewhat helpful but nothing life-changing. I put it in right before bed, hoping it will keep my eyes from being glued shut, but no help there, unfortunately. No issues with the drops that actually make it into my eye. The applicator is awful! I get more outside of my eye than inside! I am an extremely experienced user of eye drops of all kinds. This is ridiculous for a product that is this expensive!"

"Miebo works well for dry eye, but the bottle wastes a lot, and it is expensive. This same drug (perfluorohexyloctane) is an over-the-counter eye drop in Europe for years and costs $11. Too bad Bausch and Lomb made a monopoly here in the US for a generic drug."

"I was using Restasis for 3 years. The worst medication I ever experienced with bad side effects as follows: watery eyes, itching, burning eyes, and face noise itching, and allergic reaction! I stopped Restasis, evil, after using it for 3 years. Doctor prescribed me Miebo eye drops. So far, pretty good! No more watery eyes, itching, burning eyes, and face & noise itching and allergy reaction, just a little bit blurry for 15 minutes only, then will be clear."

"Love the drops - eyes never felt better but only last 3 weeks, despite being instructed on how to use. Have to use another product for the last week every month. Tried contacting company - either not taking calls or number doesn’t work. Have cut down to 3 times a day instead. Still not enough. Not senior friendly either - difficult to manipulate small bottle."

"I’ve used Xidra and Restasis with many drops in between—Oasis, night gels, etc., but they don’t compare to Miebo. It’s made me feel like I don’t have dry eyes. But I can’t get a full month from the bottle either. Many days I use just three drops trying to get the bottle to last. I use as prescribed, squeezing the bottle, then turning it upside down and dispensing a very small drop. But I’ve come up short and beg my eye doctor for a sample bottle, which is hard to get."

"I am very experienced with eye drops. Never miss. Nothing runs down my face. But these drops only last two weeks if used four times a day. So I've been using it 2 times a day so it lasts a month. However, that is not the proper therapeutic dose. But I think it's helpful. Imagine it would be better if I got the therapeutic dose."

"After taking Miebo for 2 1/2 weeks, my eyes started to burn. Badly. That was yesterday, and today they’re still burning, but not as bad. Also, they feel swollen, although they are not. My eye doctor is calling me tomorrow about this. Maybe taking less?"

"I am still in the early stage of using Miebo, so am not sure how it has affected my chronic dry eye - but I am very frustrated with the bottle it comes in and the fact that my month-long supply only lasted 3 weeks!! It is very difficult to get it to dispense an accurate drop - even when following the “explicit” instructions given. A 3-week supply given and paid for a month supply - at a very big expense. For what some of us are paying for it (they are like gold drops), the design of the bottle should be very user-friendly and able to dispense accurate dosages every time."

"I have ocular rosacea with severely dry eyes, and I have tried all the eye drops. I also work 10 hours on the computer as a software engineer. Miebo solved my constant suffering. I can now sit on the computer without constantly feeling like I need to take a break. Thank you so much! 9 out of 10 because the full dose is hard to drop in your eyes without it falling down on your nose."

"Not sure why everyone's complaining mainly about the delivery mechanics of the drops. Took me 2 days to get it right, and since then zero issues. Bottle lasts well over 30 days. Best of all, my eyes have not felt so great in years, and I can see better. Not bad for a 74-year-old."

"I’ve used Miebo for six months and consider it a miracle. My doctor addressed the application issue from the beginning and told me to just get ‘a bit’ in-and not to worry if ‘full drop’ didn’t get in. I used four times a day initially but have improved so much that morning and night applications now suffice. My vision has improved dramatically and grit is gone. I’m beyond grateful to be able to read again!"

"The amount provided is inadequate. It is difficult to dispense a small drop. The optometrist and pharmacy have both reported that other patients have said it is difficult to administer one drop only. For the 2nd month, I have run out of it and therefore have not had any drops for 10 days. When I have enough to use, one drop 4 times a day, it is a great drug. I can blink without discomfort and the silkiness of the ointment is wonderful. I can attest to this because I am again not using it and back to pre-Miebo condition."
