Oxybutynin for Urinary Frequency "All my life, I've had to deal with an overactive bladder. It made me to the point where I was 18 and still wetting the bed at night, as well as leaking throughout the day. When I first tried this, I saw a huge difference. I haven't had any of those problems except for when I keep it on longer than I should. At first, my skin was a little irritated by the patch, but now it's nothing and easy to take off. I spent 1 day without it on, and it really showed me how important it is for me to have it. I felt dirty throughout the day and had to pee all the time like always. I am so thankful for this patch, it really has helped me live with having an overactive bladder."

Oxybutynin for Urinary Frequency "I tried the Oxytrol patch and liked the effect on helping my overactive bladder, but it irritated my skin and caused such itching I couldn't continue it. I tried placing the patch in a variety of places to no avail. I see on this site that it seems to be a common occurrence."

Oxybutynin for Urinary Frequency "I get a bad reaction to the adhesive. The redness stays for weeks and itches so bad. I clean the area with acetone to remove the adhesive residue and then clean it with alcohol. Hope you guys will create one for sensitive adhesive like a sensitive bandage. The product helps with an overactive bladder, I just hope the itch and redness will go away. Been using this patch for a month."

Oxybutynin for Urinary Frequency "I would love to give this medicine a 10. It works great for my overactive bladder, unfortunately, the irritation and itching are unbearable, and I have to end up changing the patch every couple of days. I am running out of places on my body because the irritation and itching last a lot longer than the patch. The medicine works great, but I can't get past the irritation from the patch."

Oxybutynin for Urinary Incontinence "These definitely work. Day one I saw relief with the gotta-go-right-now feeling, frequency, and leakage. The downside is the patches rarely last four days, usually 36 hours to 48 hours, which makes them very expensive. They are itchy and cause redness where the patch is placed. The edges collect lint from your clothes, which makes the patch look dirty. They constantly get caught on your clothing and pull your skin. As they dry up, they begin to sound 'crinkly,' which could be embarrassing. The drying up can occur as soon as 24 hours. They are also not clear and discreet. The background is clear, but there are 10 logos printed across each patch. Very sexy."

Oxybutynin for Urinary Frequency "The patch worked. However, the itching and inflamed skin was not tolerable. I wish I could bear it just to be relieved of the overactive bladder. I thought I would have a normal life. Now trying Toviaz."

Oxybutynin for Urinary Frequency "I think the patch worked better for me in the beginning. Less effective now. As far as the sticking, I found it works best on my lower back area. You have to make sure there is no lotion or soap where you apply and then hold your hand over the patch for at least 15 seconds to make sure it adheres. The heat of your hand activates the adhesive. Didn't work on my abdomen, caused severe itching, but not on my backside. My local Walmart is out of stock. I am going to try eBay."

Oxybutynin for Urinary Frequency "I've been struggling for months. I pee. I still need to pee badly. Go again. Same feeling. No burning, but cramps like a period, and sex is terribly painful. Haven't been to the doctor yet, but I think I know what's going on. As a nurse, I've seen this. Struggled for months. I put the patch on yesterday, not even 24 hours, and I feel 80% better. I still feel it, but not near how I did. And if it gets better from here, that would be amazing! I recommend this patch highly. Maybe I should have waited a few days to post this, but the fact that I feel this good already needed to be shared. Worth every penny, and if you think about it, it is not that expensive. I usually get skin irritation from patches, and it's a little itchy already, but weighing out the pros and cons, who cares about itchy skin! Now, if it blisters, I'll be SOL. But for now, I have hope. I thought I had none."

Oxybutynin for Urinary Incontinence "I truly believe it works at stopping leakage. I thought I had found a miracle cure, but I seem to be allergic and can't take the burning, redness, and rash. I have gone through a couple of boxes because it works so well, but six days after only a 24-hour use, I still have a terrible itchy red rash. I will still consider using it for special occasions. And I must agree, it is expensive."

Oxybutynin for Urinary Frequency "So I have multiple sclerosis/frequent and urgent bladder issues. I used these patches for several years with very good results. Worked best for 3 days, wearing for 4 days not as good on last day. Adhesive stays on after removing patch and built up over a period of time, causing skin irritation and redness. Worked best on abdomen, not as well on buttocks. Did not stick well or stay on hip. I think the reason it didn't stay as well on hip and bottom was because of heat in those areas. Overall, very satisfied with the product."

For Hyperhidrosis "Have hyperhidrosis of my scalp and head, chest, torso, and bum. Hyperhidrosis of the scalp and head bothers me, especially with sweat in my eyes. I don’t have to do anything but go outside in the heat and humidity. Unfortunately, oxybutynin exacerbates another condition—brachioradial pruritus (itchy arms)—and therefore I cannot use this. I already have two other anti-cholinergics: myrbetriq for overactive bladder and diphenhydramine to sleep."

Oxybutynin for Urinary Frequency "In less than 48 hours, I developed extreme itching, redness, and blistering under the patch. I removed the patch, and there were large water blisters underneath. So, obviously, I discontinued using the patches. Out of $32.00."

Oxybutynin for Urinary Frequency "I have tried the patch, and it did help decrease overactive bladder, however, my skin is red, swollen, burning, and itching wherever I tried the patch. Even after 7 days off on 3 different patch sites, my skin hasn't healed yet. If this comes in an oral form, which I think it does, I may try that."

Oxybutynin for Urinary Frequency "Works well but had site reaction with each patch. Itching, swelling, and redness. Tried using Benadryl spray first, let dry, then applied patch. Patch then would not stick properly."

For Urinary Frequency "Did not experience much drop in my 'overactivity' ... from 16 to 13 times a day. Worst was the patch, caused a large red mark on the skin that stayed for days and itched."

Oxybutynin for Urinary Frequency "Great product. I have been on other drugs that gave me back side effects - rash, itching, dry mouth, constipation, headache, dizziness, back pain, etc. I urinate on average 20-40 times a day, approximately every 15-20 minutes. After using the patch, I went as long as 2 hours without using the restroom. My skin is irritated and red, but it's better than spending my whole day in the bathroom. I can't believe my doctor didn't put me on this over-the-counter drug first before spending hundreds of dollars on prescription medications. I have suffered for over 30 years with the issue of urgency and frequency, this is a miracle for me. Praise the LORD."
