"I have used Dipentum since first being diagnosed 35 years ago. The dosage has been 500mg twice a day. During this period, I have only had two flairs. One was when, on the advice of my physician, I attempted to wean myself from the medication. I have had no adverse side effects. Recently, on the advice of my physician, I substituted Mesalamine. The side effects were severe. On returning to Dipentum all side effects were alleviated. Medicines are idiosyncratic. Dipentum is worth an experiment."
