For Dry Eye Disease "I found out I had dry eyes from my optometrist a few years ago when she recommended Refresh Optive and Refresh PM ointment. Had good success with both. When I finally went to an ophthalmologist, he suggested Restasis, so I have been using both drops for a couple years now and am very pleased with how my eyes feel. I had to stop using the ointment when it clogged a duct and my eye hurt and got red."

"This review is for the PM ointment. The idea of putting ointment in my eyes is disturbing. Very disturbing. I’m not good when something gets close to my eyeball, so it took a lot of self-talk to put the ointment in my eyes. Before, I’d go to bed with burning and/or gritty eyes and wake up with burning eyes and/or sticky eyelids. I have none of that now…it’s so nice! It causes blurry vision, but it doesn’t matter because I use it right before going to bed. It’s a little hard to put in because too much pressure is needed to get the product out of the tube. An ointment eye product is still unsettling to me, but it works extremely well, so I keep using it. If they made a non-ointment product that was just as effective and lasted all night, I’d be the first in line."

For Dry Eye Disease "Refresh has made my eyes feel MORE dry, I wake up in the morning after using them the night before and my eyes feel like they are cemented shut and super dry, it's a vey strange feeling!!"
