For Pneumonia "I had shortness of breath and chest pains on the right side, the doctor sent me for X-rays. I called the next day and was told I had pneumonia in the left lung. It's been 5 days now, and I slept throughout the night yesterday for the first time in a week, chest pains are still there but less intense. After 10 days on the medicine, I am going back for X-rays. So far, so good."

For Sinusitis "I took a second pill and had a severe reaction to it in less than 25 minutes. It started with nausea, hives, extremely dizzy and lightheaded, slurred speech, shortness of breath, rapid heartbeat and rise in blood pressure and heart rate, severe anxiety and weakness."

For Sinusitis "I have never reacted to an antibiotic, ever, in my whole life. Until now. Within 30 minutes of taking Avelox, I was experiencing nausea, sweats, shortness of breath, and heart flutters. I was so weak I had to be carried to bed. Then the vomiting started, it was short-lived but violent. It also has many NSAID contraindications, so be careful. Especially if your sinus infection is very painful, watch what you take. Glad to see it's worked for some, but for me."

For Sinusitis "I took one pill and had a severe allergic reaction to it in less than half an hour. It started with stomach pain, blood in the stool, rash, swelling, and shortness of breath. I had a seizure, my husband called the ambulance, and I ended up in the hospital. Scary experience, and I want to let everyone know how horrible this drug is."

For Sinusitis "Awful side effects! I was fatigued, trembling, and experienced shortness of breath and tachycardia. I even started feeling knee pain after the second day of treatment. I couldn't sleep for three days and just had a mild improvement in my sinuses."

For Pneumonia "I'm on my 11th day (out of 20 days) taking Avelox, and it works. Besides having a headache and shortness of breath, everything seems to be working great. After 10 days of taking it, my pneumonia was 75% better."

For Pneumonia "This drug definitely saved my life! I began to see changes to my severe pneumonia condition after the third tablet with minimal side effects. Course completed: 10 tablets (one per day) Avelox (Moksifloksacine 400mg). Aftereffects: I continued to have a wheezing sound coming from my lungs for months afterward, even though I completed the course as instructed. Perhaps this was due to a secondary infection?"
