For Ovarian Cancer "Had the 4th infusion of Elahere six days ago. Therefore, we don't yet know the efficacy of the treatment. Of the side effects listed in the 'Elahere Side Effects' document, to date, I have experienced more than half of them, including fever, nausea and vomiting, severe constipation along with a very sore lower abdominal area, blurred vision and loss of acuity, some eye pain, severe headache, muscle and joint pain, neuropathy, some pain when urinating, some weakening of legs, cough and hoarseness, decreased appetite, among others. Most of the painful side effects are fairly well controlled with medications."

For Ovarian Cancer "I started Elahere in February 2024 and experienced side effects, constipation, fatigue, loss of appetite, and several days after the treatment I had diarrhea. Three weeks later, before my second treatment, I had my blood work done and my CA125 went up from 47 to 94... very disappointing. I had my second infusion in March 2024, I had less fatigue, less loss of appetite, still had constipation for a couple of days, and the diarrhea started after that, plus I now have this itchy burning sensation in my right shoulder blade in my back that I did not have before. I am also doing Prednisolone Acetate 1% eye drops, which I do one drop in each eye four times a day to help with any eye problems, so far, so good. Praying my next CA125 shows better results next month."

For Peritoneal Cancer "I have been on Elahere for over one year. Initially, I was receiving an infusion every three weeks, but after the sixth infusion and increasing side effects, I went to every six weeks and reduced the dosage. So far, my CA-125 is holding steady, lower than 15! I wouldn’t be able to handle the side effects if I was getting it every three weeks. I have high blood pressure, eye issues, now resolved, abdominal pain, severe constipation, managed with lots of stool softeners and laxatives, neuropathy, and fatigue. I keep wanting to stop but am afraid that it will come back if I do. Elahere is the first thing that has kept me in remission for more than three months. I am grateful."
