For Bowel Preparation "This is the first time I have prepped with Suprep, and it will be my last. Having had IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) for over 40 years, I am an old pro at colonoscopies. This new prep was the worst ever. The taste was horrible, and the cleanout continuous for hours and very painful. Have had 2 total joint replacements and 4 c-sections, and none of these things compare to the level of discomfort I have experienced with this prep. I know the procedure will be a breeze after this horrible prep."

For Bowel Preparation "I'm in the middle of the process right now! I didn't find the taste all that unpleasant. I drank it all at the same time, which might have been a mistake because I then had trouble drinking the additional water (but I did drink it). I just figured it would be best to get it all down in one shot. It began working in around 30 minutes, and I've already gone to the bathroom at least six times. With each bathroom trip, everything is lighter in color and clearer, which I suppose is the goal. I'm just now feeling that I won't be going much longer... it has been 1 hour and 45 mins since I started the prep. I've not experienced pain or nausea. Although I admit I'm not looking forward to doing this again tomorrow morning. :)"

For Bowel Preparation "This was my 3rd colonoscopy, so I’m not a newbie. I’ll not use Suprep prep again. I’ll ask for Miralax/Dulcolax. This prep was brutal. Nasty taste, and my butt sure was sore. By far, my worst experience with a bowel prep. Never again."

For Bowel Preparation "This prep is the most vile thing I have ever tasted in my life, but it does the job great. If you hate sweets, I suggest you don't even try to gag this down. It tastes super sweet, then sour, then salty all in one sip. I gagged it down and almost threw up every sip, but it works like a charm. Took my first dose at 6 pm, then about an hour after, the waterfall began and caused little to no discomfort. Although I wish I would have used a little vaseline downstairs because it does get a little sore after a bit."

For Bowel Preparation "Let me preface this by saying I had gastric sleeve 16 months ago. My stomach holds 6 ounces. Took me 20 minutes to get the first prep drink in. I've forced 16 more ounces of water in, and I'm in some serious pain. It's been 54 minutes, and I'm trying not to throw up. I gotta get another 16 ounces down in 20 minutes. Then do this all over again at 5:30 tomorrow? Oh, I had to do a pre-pre-prep last night. 10 ounces of magnesium citrate. That was worse tasting than this stuff."

For Bowel Preparation "I read the posts and decided to keep it cold. I just drank it at 6 pm and tried not to think about it. After a few good chugs, I rinsed my mouth with ginger beer, spit, and drank a few more good chugs. Someone said ginger ale, which is fine, but ginger beer is a non-alcoholic, stronger ginger flavor. Anyhow, I drank the two 16 oz waters during the next half hour. Started pooping watery in about an hour and stayed on the toilet until almost 8:30. Made a few more trips during the night and even this morning some. No pain or nausea or shaking, went okay for me, but have to drink it again in an hour, and that's not something I want to do again."

For Bowel Preparation "This was my first colonoscopy with Suprep. Instead of the two-step procedure, I was called to report early, which meant that I had to do both preps in the evening. I started drinking the Suprep at 6:00 pm. I drank it in about 10 minutes. Didn't gulp, but pretty fast with 8 oz. in 5 minutes. I drank with a straw and plain cold water. I then completed all 32 ounces within the hour. It took 40 minutes. Slight fullness, but no real nausea or vomiting. There was no pain or cramping, just some gurgling. When I heard that I had almost no time, I read my iPad and stayed as comfortable as I could. I was finished by 9. At 10:15, I started drinking the cold prep with the straw. I finished by 10:30 and began 16 ounces of ice water. In less than 20 minutes, the content was liquid. It was clear halfway through. I got in bed at 12 and went twice with just water. I slept from 1 to 5 and got up at 6. My experience was good. I credit it to the prep. I stuck to the instructions."

For Bowel Preparation "I just wanted a simple colonoscopy on Monday morning for being over 50 years old. Sunday night I used the first bottle with water and followed up with over 32 oz of water. Monday I was in the ER in bad pain. Lost 2 weeks of work recovering. Had to take painkillers and could not drive. I have notified Braintree Labs and have talked to several doctors and to an attorney. Horrible three weeks."

For Bowel Preparation "I was nauseated for a couple of hours after taking the first prep. It was effective in doing what it was designed to do. However, my side effects lingered for 2 weeks after the colonoscopy. I became severely constipated with stomach bloating and pain. I was beginning to think I had an obstruction. Even taking a double dose of Miralax and another laxative at night, I was having very little success. After about 2 weeks, the problem resolved itself and all was good."

For Bowel Preparation "This was the most foul thing I've ever tried to ingest. I mixed it with ice water and could only take about 3 sips at a time before I gagged and had to wash it down with plain water. I was not able to finish the last 10% of either bottle. The stuff works - I was flushed clean by the middle of the 2nd bottle. Try not to wipe, or you will get really sore. I took one bottle the night before the procedure (after not eating all day). Was pretty much done with trips to the bathroom in 3 hours. The 2nd bottle was early the day of the procedure."

For Bowel Preparation "Okay, to start. This is the MOST DISGUSTING thing I have ever had to drink. It took me about 2 hours to get it down, I mixed it with orange juice. Not the best idea. The toilet sitting started about an hour in, and I was there about 2 hours. I am 21 years old, and my first colonoscopy is tomorrow at 11:30 am. After all that, I have some very mild cramping, my rectum feels like there are glass shards in it, so it definitely does hurt, and I do also have the chills. I have seen a lot of reviews about the horrors, and the taste of the medication is definitely disgusting. Also, definitely don’t be too far away from the bathroom because you really can’t hold it."

For Bowel Preparation "Prepare yourself for extreme nausea and rectal pain because that's what this prep is going to give you. I unfortunately didn't prepare properly and spent ~4 hours through the entire process squirming and groaning on the toilet seat, and had some vomiting thrown in too for good measure. That said, it really doesn't taste as bad as people say it does as long as you mix it with something like lime flavoring. It's not very palatable, but I wasn't gagging from it, and I drank it all without a straw. Plus, you can't argue that it doesn't do a real good job of cleaning out your colon. Doc had no complaints. Honestly, if I had taken something for the nausea beforehand, I think it would not be a very bad experience at all."

For Bowel Preparation "I was so worried I would have cramping and pain, but I was so relieved with this SUPREP! I'm being worked up for ulcerative colitis and was afraid this would be a terrible bowel prep experience, but it's not! I expected it to taste bad, I simply held my nose tight and drank it down, no problem, with a Jell-O chaser, lol. Nauseous the first dose, but it ended in a few minutes. It worked so gently on me, no cramps at all! Now I'm on my second dose this morning and no nausea, and no cramps. If I ever need a colonoscopy again, I'm taking SUPREP. Watching a show on my phone right on the John!"

For Bowel Preparation "I had constant explosive diarrhea for four months (7 to 9 explosions of diarrhea daily with no solid food). Took Plenvu, which is 16 oz of med followed by 16 oz of water the day before and morning of the procedure. Thought I was going to die, the pain and cramps were so bad! The mango taste actually tasted like rotten mangos. After all of that, the colonoscopy had to be canceled due to incomplete cleansing of the colon. Found out four months later the CT of the abdomen was misread, and I actually had 2 bowel obstructions! The colonoscopy prep, as well as the colonoscopy, could have seriously injured me because the radiologist with supposedly 30+ years of experience “missed” 2 bowel obstructions! Changed gastroenterologist and changed prep to Suprep."

For Bowel Preparation "This is my third colonoscopy; the first one I used the Miralax mixture with Dulcolax - didn’t taste bad, but you went all night without sleeping. The second time I tried Suprep and noticed 1/4 of the volume to drink, but I won’t lie, it tastes pretty bad. The best way to describe it is salty concentrated Robitussin. The package says berry, but it’s more grape/cherry nastiness. The third time I opted for Suprep again, and it definitely hurt toward the ends of the prep. I was absolutely raw and swollen. I don’t recall this happening using the Miralax way, but the pros here are - less to drink, works faster. Cons - horrible taste. Honestly, both ways are pretty bad if you ask me, but I’d probably try the Miralax way again because I was gagging halfway through the first dose."

For Bowel Preparation "Not bad at all. Held my breath and downed the whole 16 oz in one chug. 45 mins later, plenty of action in the plumbing. No pain, no nausea. Don't believe everything you read."

For Bowel Preparation "By far the most painful experience of my life. It felt like a near-death experience. I took Suprep last night after being prescribed it in the hospital. I went to the ER for bad constipation after a recent surgery. Therefore, I was prescribed Suprep to clean my bowels out. I took the first dose at 4:30 pm and then sat in excruciating pain on the toilet until 9:30. For those 5 hours, nothing happened, no bowel movement whatsoever. However, it was the most painful experience I had ever been through, I couldn’t move, I was hot and sweaty, and I was literally crying out loud. At one point, I got on my hands and knees and prayed to God to not let me die. Then, finally, at 9:30-9:45, a big push happened, and I passed a normal hard bowel movement, then it kept flying out like rain. I was happy it worked, but also the pain did not justify the result. I was only 5 days constipated. Never again. This medicine was the worst thing I’d ever been through."
