For Emergency Contraception "I took Next Choice One Dose 48 hours after unprotected sex. The sex was one day after my period ended. I was dizzy for several days after taking the pill. I had loss of appetite, but I think it was because I was worried about being pregnant. I had spotting 4 days after taking the pill, and the spotting was for 3 days. I had cramps the whole time I was spotting. I ended up getting my period a week before it was scheduled to start. My period normally lasts 6 or 7 days, but it was only 4 days after using this pill. It has now been a month since I used the pill, and I am not pregnant. I would not want to use emergency contraception again, I think I learned my lesson. If I had a friend in my situation, I would definitely recommend it."

For Emergency Contraception "My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex about 10 days into my cycle. I took Next Choice One Dose about 12 hours later. I had no side effects, maybe a little sleepy. About 6 days later, I woke up with cramps and a light period that turned into a normal period-13 days before I was supposed to get it. I did freak out a little because my periods are always on schedule, but I did get my period again when I was supposed to, and I didn't get pregnant. So despite the unwanted mini period, this medicine did what it was supposed to, and I had no bad side effects (I have taken the two-dose pills before and had a few negative side effects). It was a little pricey, but it's absolutely worth not having a baby."

For Emergency Contraception "Took the one-dose pill 12 hours after unprotected sex. No immediate side effects. 5 days later, I got a very heavy, crampy period 13 days before my scheduled period. Didn't enjoy having this period a week after my scheduled period first ended, but the pill was effective, and I'd use it again if I had to."

For Emergency Contraception "This product overall did its purpose, which is prevention of pregnancy. I did have bleeding about 6 days after I took the pill. Cramping that was not normal, and my 28-day cycle was off, I ended up 4 days late. Those were the worst 4 days of my life, by the way. But overall, I'm not pregnant, so I'm happy. But of course, the best thing you can do is practice safe sex, use condoms and birth control, and let this be a last resort."

For Emergency Contraception "So I took the pill 10 hours after my little encounter with my best friend. It was my first time, and I was shocked that I succumbed to the pressure. I experienced cramps and headaches the whole week after taking the pill. I was worried when my period didn't officially start that Monday, but I was three days late, which was Thursday when I came on. I'm so happy and relieved. This pill works. So just calm down and breathe."

For Emergency Contraception "I'm 38, took the pill, had light cramping off and on but no period. A very light spotting that I wouldn't even consider a period. Now a month and a half later, still no period. I've taken 3 pregnancy tests and all have been negative. I'm hoping I will start my period soon, but if not, I guess it's a trip to the doctor."

For Emergency Contraception "I took Next Choice within 24 hours of unprotected sex. I have a 2-year-old already, and I am not financially able to have another child right now. After taking it, I felt fine, but 4 or 5 hours later, I was so sleepy. I dozed off all evening and went to bed early that night. It's been about 3 weeks since I've taken it, and I've been miserable! I've had stomach pains, nausea, and dizziness. 3 days afterwards, I was having chest pains. I started my period today, and although it's really light, I feel horrible. I'm nauseated and my stomach is cramping something awful. It also feels like I'm having vertigo. I recommend staying away from this pill, because even though it is extremely effective, I want to feel normal again."

For Emergency Contraception "I took Next Choice One Dose after unprotected sex in late Dec 2014. I just had ended my period a couple of days prior and probably was not ovulating but took it just in case. After taking the pill, I experienced tiredness the first day, awful cramps for a couple of days after, and then started to bleed for about 4 days, which seemed like a period. This is a common side effect I read. I was also told if you bleed after the pill, that usually means it worked. My period ended up coming last night, which is 8 days after my normal period date. I was stressed the whole time waiting for my period to come. Finally, it's here. This pill works!"

For Emergency Contraception "This made me really sick. I would say go for Plan B even if it is a little more expensive. Plan B didn't bother me when I took it before. But, with this medicine, I had all of the side effects you can imagine. But I am not pregnant, so the medication did do its job. Just be wary that you can get upper respiratory infection, diarrhea, terrible cramps, and a lot of bleeding."

For Emergency Contraception "I'm writing this review just to ease the conscience of some of you out there, but trust me, this pill works. I've had to take Plan B and this pill, and they both did the job. Granted, with Plan B, I had fewer side effects, but this pill I took 12 hours after having unprotected sex. I wasn't at my most fertile time of the month, so that probably lessened my chances even more of getting pregnant, but I took it just to make sure. Right after I took it, I was extremely exhausted and took a really long nap. The other side effect I had was cramping and an occasional headache, but nothing too bad. I actually ended up getting my period a day early, but the cramps were excruciating. Other than that, I was fine. The earlier you take it, the better, ladies."

For Emergency Contraception "The pill does a great job of preventing pregnancy just like Plan B will. I have taken this pill several times before, but this time, wow. This pill does a good job at mimicking pregnancy symptoms, but I am glad to say I am not pregnant. Had intercourse on January 6 but took the pill just in case of pre-ejaculate. My period was due January 22 but spotted earlier on January 15-18, brownish and then pink. I had real bad breast tenderness, dizziness, nausea, hot flashes, high blood pressure, headaches, backache, prominent veins on boobs and all over body, muscle spasms, cramps, but no period, slight fever. It is now March 13 and yet no period, the pill threw my cycle off real bad."

For Emergency Contraception "I took this pill 19 hours after our condom leaked. My period had just ended, so we wanted to be cautious. I took it on Jan 4, 5 days later, I had some abdominal cramping, a severe headache, and cramping. The bleeding and cramping lasted 4 1/2 days. I also had some very minor light-headedness off and on during January, but I'm not sure if it was really caused by the pill or not. My next period was very late. I usually have a short cycle, about 25 days, since I don't use birth control pills regularly, its length is irregular, but mine came a full 7 days after my longest cycle of 28 days. It started on Feb 2. I did have more cramping the week before it started. The cramping was not fun, but at least it worked."

For Emergency Contraception "My husband and I were intimate with no protection, but we're not ready for a baby right now. I took Next Choice within 2 hours. I was very nervous about taking it since I had been on birth control pills for 12 years up until 2 months ago. I didn't want to mess myself up now that I was hormone-free, but I didn't want to be pregnant yet. I took an ovulation test after, and of course, it was positive, so I freaked. I didn't have ANY side effects at all during the first day. I'm due to get my period in 4 days, and I've been dizzy, nauseous, cramping, and flushed all week, so I'm convinced I'm pregnant. I just took a test, and it's negative. :) I'm praying I'll get my period in a few days, if not, then I'll take another test and submit an update on whether it actually worked or not. So far, so good!"

For Emergency Contraception "I had unprotected sex on Feb 1, 2015, around 4 p.m. My periods have been irregular, and at this time, I haven't had my period in 3 months. The next day, I took the Next Choice One Dose pill at 5:30 p.m. (I took a pregnancy test before taking the Next Choice One Dose pill, and the test was negative.) That week (2nd-7th), I experienced pain in my lower back, painful cramps, dizziness, and headaches. On Feb 8, I got my period! It started off very heavy and got lighter at the end. During my period, I experienced the regular period symptoms and PMS. The period lasted for 5 days. I recommend this medication because it is cheap, and it works!"

For Emergency Contraception "I was supposed to get my period on Sunday, had unprotected sex but used the pull-out method the following day (Monday). Same thing happened on that same week on Thursday. Period was 6 days late at that point & decided to take the pill. Took the pill that next day (Friday). Still no period, took a pregnancy test (Saturday) that came out negative. After taking the pill, I kept cramping and having leg pain but no period. Finally got my period, which ended up being 12 days late. Pill did what it's supposed to do. Definitely experienced all the side effects directed, which is okay."

For Emergency Contraception "Four days after my period ended, I decided to have intercourse for the first time. As my luck would have it, I hadn't taken my birth control in 5 days due to my prescription running out, and the condom broke. Three hours later found me at my local Farm Fresh asking for Plan B (they gave me Next Choice instead). I took it and freaked out for six days. On the seventh day, I got my period again. The bleeding was really heavy, and the cramps were terrible, but I was ecstatic. Oh, and I weigh 178. It worked wonderfully. Best $40 I've ever spent."

For Emergency Contraception "I had unprotected sex three days before ovulation and took this within four hours after having sex. After reading some of the reviews, I was a little wary of how well it would work. I ended up experiencing my normal ovulation symptoms as well, which made me even more worried as this pill is supposed to prevent ovulation. I didn't experience any side effects (no headaches, nausea, etc.), but I did have some cramping that began about four days after I took it and continued off and on for about a week. My period ended up coming today, which is three days before I expected it. Give it time and try not to worry!"

For Emergency Contraception "My boyfriend and I had always used condoms. I was not on the pill and relied on them heavily. Unfortunately for us, one day the condom had ripped and neither of us had noticed. It was only after that we realized that he had ejaculated inside of me as well. Being in a state of panic, we drove straight to get Plan B. Our pharmacist recommended 'Next Choice' to us, and I had taken it within one hour of having sex. The side effects for me personally weren't all that bad. I had headaches throughout the month and the occasional cramping, but none of that compared to the paranoia! Safe to say that I had received my period one week earlier than expected and am now on birth control just to be extra cautious! Be safe and try not to stress yourself out!"

For Emergency Contraception "I took this since I am not on birth control yet and just recently had my baby (5 weeks ago). This pill has way worse side effects than Plan B. This pill has me emotional, crying within minutes, and gave me a migraine minutes after that. A few hours later, I woke up with extreme cramping in my lower back and abdomen for hours. I was up in pain. I would never take this again."

For Emergency Contraception "I had intercourse with my hubby for 10 years, and we have 3 children already, 2 of which were from a previous relationship and one of our own. We did not want any more children at this point in our lives. We had sex at 3-4 a.m. At 10 a.m., I was already at the pharmacy picking up Next Choice and took it in the car with a bottle of water. 4 days later it happened again, so again within hours I took the Next Choice. Upon Googling what happens if you take 2 within a month's cycle, it looked like everything was okay. When I took the pills, I did not have bleeding at either time, it wasn't till about a week later my boobs got sore and I had back and leg pain and pinching-like cramps. I thought a heavy period was coming, but it didn't, and I'm pregnant."

For Emergency Contraception "This pill gets the job done in preventing pregnancy, but the hormones made my body crazy. I took this January 6 with no symptoms until a week later. I had high blood pressure, really bad dizziness, nausea, hot flashes, a slight fever, and really bad breast tenderness. I spotted from Jan 15-18, at first, it was brown, then a small amount of blood, but not enough to fill up a pad. I thought this was my period, but soon after the spotting stopped, my breasts became so sore and big. I had prominent veins on my breasts and all over my body as if I was pregnant, backaches, insomnia, anxiety, depression, small cramps in my abdomen, and all over body cramps. My period was supposed to start Jan 22, but it never arrived. It is now March 13, and still no period."

For Emergency Contraception "I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend a week ago from today. He did not cum in me. I took the pill right after I had sex. The night right after that, we had sex one more time, but he did not cum in me. I hear that you can get pregnant from precum if there are any leftover sperm cells in there. But you can flush any of that away when you pee. So he peed before that just in case. Four days later, I get an unusual period where the blood is less thick, though there are clots. I am having bad headaches every now and then, terrible cramps, dizziness, nausea, and tiredness. And today I had terrible back pain, which scares me a lot. The bleeding is only a little, and it is now really dark brown. I am really worried at this point. Am I okay?"

For Emergency Contraception "Had unprotected sex on 28 of Dec. Took the pill within 24 hours, had spotting a couple of days after taking it. Fifteen days later, had spotting that came 2 days before my period was due, lasted 2 days. Waited a week before taking a pregnancy test, and it came out positive. This was my first time ever having sex, and I have been cramping badly and having sharp pains in my stomach."

For Emergency Contraception "Took the pill about 1-2 hours after unprotected sex, was very worried because I had just ovulated, so I didn't think it would work, but I got my period 2 weeks later! Did experience a lot of cramps, and my period is pretty heavy, but it did its job, and I'm very happy! Try not to stress because that does throw off your period!"
