For Emergency Contraception "I used Next Choice One Dose. I took the pill 10 hours after. It made me so sleepy, and I was a bit dizzy. On the fifth day, I started with a bad headache, and the next day I started spotting. Now, today, I am proud to say I'm not pregnant! I was so paranoid when my period wasn't here. Now it is, I couldn't be happier. Just relax, girl, it works."

For Emergency Contraception "Took Next Choice One Dose because it was covered by my insurance. Had unprotected sex on Saturday. Took the pill on Monday. Side effects were headache and tiredness. It delayed my period by 4 days, first by spotting. At least I know I'm not pregnant."

For Emergency Contraception "I took Next Choice One Dose half an hour after. Did not experience all the side effects, just a terrible headache on the 5th day. I got my period yesterday (a week after I took the pill). This pill does work, so don't stress out too much. Just stay calm and let the pill do its job!"

For Emergency Contraception "I took this pill 10 days before my period. And took it 37 hours within the 72-hour requirement. It made me tired, and I had headaches, more than usual. Then, around the time of my period, I was a little worried, and the day before my period, I started to spot for 3 days. It was supposed to come on June 14. So I was even more worried. Then, come Monday, and thank God, my period came. I have never been more excited for my period to come until now!! IT WORKS."

For Emergency Contraception "After taking Next Choice One Dose, I experienced three periods in one month, intestinal pain, constipation, headaches, and high blood pressure. I am a healthy run-of-the-mill 23-year-old, so I was extremely surprised by these side effects. I had taken Next Choice once before when it was a two-dose. It did not have this effect on my body, cycle, or hormones. It has been a hard month due to this medication, but it's better than an unwanted pregnancy. I don't want to discourage anyone from taking this. I just want them to know what they may have to go through. Like I said, it's still a small price to pay."

For Emergency Contraception "Had protected sex, but the condom broke. Within an hour or two, I went to Walgreens, got Next Choice, took the pill, felt sleepy about 30 minutes after taking it. A couple of headaches after, but no major side effects, had one day of spotting but nothing else. Started getting worried maybe it didn't work. On January 5, finally got my period. Next Choice works, just say calm and let the rest fall in place."

For Emergency Contraception "So I took the pill 10 hours after my little encounter with my best friend. It was my first time, and I was shocked that I succumbed to the pressure. I experienced cramps and headaches the whole week after taking the pill. I was worried when my period didn't officially start that Monday, but I was three days late, which was Thursday when I came on. I'm so happy and relieved. This pill works. So just calm down and breathe."

For Emergency Contraception "I took the Take Action pill last year, and I didn't research it or anything. I was really scared it wasn't going to be effective. My husband got it for me. I'm happy to say this pill didn't really have any scary or painful side effects, the only thing I felt was maybe little cramps, breast pain, and that was it. I got my period 3 days after when I was supposed to get it, even though this pill is only effective during 72 hours (3 days). I took it the 4th day, and everything felt normal. I took the Take Action pill last year, July 4, 2014. I have recently taken it again 2 weeks ago, and I've so far just had headaches and breast pain."

For Emergency Contraception "Just took this a few weeks ago, and I was extremely concerned about the side effects I was possibly going to have. Of course, I researched on the internet, and you always read horror stories that'll scare you to death. Anyway, I felt like I had no other choice, so I took the pill very reluctantly. After about 7 hours, I did get nauseous, but never vomited. The nausea lasted for about a day. I was still able to eat a little, though. I had a headache, but nothing more than a casual headache that pops up from time to time. Other than that, I was all good. So ladies, if you were like me and scared of the side effects, it was bearable and worth it considering the other alternative. Overall, a pretty positive experience. Stay away from the horror stories."

For Emergency Contraception "Ok, so April 19th around 4 a.m. was when my man ejaculated in me. I came home from a girls' fun “drinking” night. So yes, I was pretty messed up. Well, I was supposed to get my period on April 20th, and it didn’t come. So I waited until the 21st, and it still didn’t come, so early morning around 9 a.m. on the 21st, we went to get this pill and I took it immediately. Yes, I started getting stomach pains, headaches, and toothaches for a few days. Everybody does not get all the exact same symptoms, and everybody's symptoms are not as severe. I was so paranoid, all I did was look up reviews on this pill the whole time. So now April 27th came, a week after my period was supposed to come down, and here it was. It finally came, and I’m so relieved. It’s March 2nd, and it’s gotten very light and should be gone by today. Ladies, I am here to tell you just stay calm in this situation because I think that I stressed myself out worse than anything for nothing. The pill DID work for me."

For Emergency Contraception "I'm writing this review just to ease the conscience of some of you out there, but trust me, this pill works. I've had to take Plan B and this pill, and they both did the job. Granted, with Plan B, I had fewer side effects, but this pill I took 12 hours after having unprotected sex. I wasn't at my most fertile time of the month, so that probably lessened my chances even more of getting pregnant, but I took it just to make sure. Right after I took it, I was extremely exhausted and took a really long nap. The other side effect I had was cramping and an occasional headache, but nothing too bad. I actually ended up getting my period a day early, but the cramps were excruciating. Other than that, I was fine. The earlier you take it, the better, ladies."

For Emergency Contraception "The pill does a great job of preventing pregnancy just like Plan B will. I have taken this pill several times before, but this time, wow. This pill does a good job at mimicking pregnancy symptoms, but I am glad to say I am not pregnant. Had intercourse on January 6 but took the pill just in case of pre-ejaculate. My period was due January 22 but spotted earlier on January 15-18, brownish and then pink. I had real bad breast tenderness, dizziness, nausea, hot flashes, high blood pressure, headaches, backache, prominent veins on boobs and all over body, muscle spasms, cramps, but no period, slight fever. It is now March 13 and yet no period, the pill threw my cycle off real bad."

For Emergency Contraception "I'm known to be a little paranoid, but everything turned out just fine. Took the pill about 7 hours after sexual intercourse, experienced side effects such as headaches, dizziness, and spotting a week later. After 8 days of experiencing the side effects, I finally got my period. Definitely recommend it!"

For Emergency Contraception "I took this pill 19 hours after our condom leaked. My period had just ended, so we wanted to be cautious. I took it on Jan 4, 5 days later, I had some abdominal cramping, a severe headache, and cramping. The bleeding and cramping lasted 4 1/2 days. I also had some very minor light-headedness off and on during January, but I'm not sure if it was really caused by the pill or not. My next period was very late. I usually have a short cycle, about 25 days, since I don't use birth control pills regularly, its length is irregular, but mine came a full 7 days after my longest cycle of 28 days. It started on Feb 2. I did have more cramping the week before it started. The cramping was not fun, but at least it worked."

For Emergency Contraception "I am on the pill Trinessa but took an antibiotic, Ciprofloxacin, for a urinary tract infection a week before having sex with my boyfriend. He didn't use a condom, and I heard that antibiotics can make the pill less effective, so I was super paranoid and scared that I would get pregnant. So, about 16 hours after sex, I took Next Choice One Dose. Right after I took it, I had a headache, but that's it. Didn't have any other symptoms for several days after. Since I am on the pill, I know exactly when I am supposed to get my period. I felt menstrual cramps and fatigue for a couple of days before the day my period was supposed to start. I had light bleeding and cramps on the day it was due. Relax & good luck."

For Emergency Contraception "I had unprotected sex on Feb 1, 2015, around 4 p.m. My periods have been irregular, and at this time, I haven't had my period in 3 months. The next day, I took the Next Choice One Dose pill at 5:30 p.m. (I took a pregnancy test before taking the Next Choice One Dose pill, and the test was negative.) That week (2nd-7th), I experienced pain in my lower back, painful cramps, dizziness, and headaches. On Feb 8, I got my period! It started off very heavy and got lighter at the end. During my period, I experienced the regular period symptoms and PMS. The period lasted for 5 days. I recommend this medication because it is cheap, and it works!"

For Emergency Contraception "I promised myself I would write a review on Next Choice - even if it worked or not. And now I'm here to share my experience. So I had unprotected sex Wednesday night around 10 pm (he jizzed inside of me), and let me tell you how truly scared I was! So I decided to take the Plan B pill the next morning, however, there was no Plan B in stock, so I had to settle for Next Choice One Dose. Around 10 am, I swallowed BOTH .75 mg pills with some water and a McDonald's breakfast sandwich. So hours went by, and I didn't feel a single side effect. Surprisingly. However, the next day or two, I started to feel nauseous randomly and got frequent headaches. I never had any other problems. Today is Friday, and I just got my period. Just be patient, my loves!"

For Emergency Contraception "Hoping to impart some peace of mind to anyone waiting for it to work. My boyfriend and I had sex on May 4th, the last day of my period. He finished in a condom, then later went back inside me unprotected. He didn't finish the second time, but I wanted to be extra careful. I took Plan B about 18 hours later. I had a withdrawal bleed five days later (May 11-12) that lasted 2 days, and was supposed to get my period on the 27th - it came today, 6 days late, on June 1st (stress/jetlag may be to blame). Some bad side effects - depression, mood swings, thick white discharge, headaches, fatigue. I'd urge you to keep track of your cycle for added reassurance in these situations (know your fertile window, etc.). Sending peace and patience and don't be scared!"

For Emergency Contraception "Well, I got liquor confidence, and my man and I weren't thinking about the gloves. So, on Dec 28th, I had a slip-up. I have difficulty getting pregnant, so I wasn't too concerned. We are grown. We know what comes from sex. So continuing, it's now Jan 9th, still no period. I took the pill on the 31st. Ok, now I've read different opinions and outlooks. Some started before their original period or late too. But typically before. I've used it before, but this time, this was different. I keep track of periods, sex, etc. I was ovulating when we slipped. I'm so concerned because I'm 15 days late. No sign of a period coming. My breasts have bright blue veins. I'm lazy as hell. My head is killing me. I'm thinking the pill didn't work. Please, someone help me out with this."

For Emergency Contraception "My boyfriend and I had always used condoms. I was not on the pill and relied on them heavily. Unfortunately for us, one day the condom had ripped and neither of us had noticed. It was only after that we realized that he had ejaculated inside of me as well. Being in a state of panic, we drove straight to get Plan B. Our pharmacist recommended 'Next Choice' to us, and I had taken it within one hour of having sex. The side effects for me personally weren't all that bad. I had headaches throughout the month and the occasional cramping, but none of that compared to the paranoia! Safe to say that I had received my period one week earlier than expected and am now on birth control just to be extra cautious! Be safe and try not to stress yourself out!"

For Emergency Contraception "I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend a week ago from today. He did not cum in me. I took the pill right after I had sex. The night right after that, we had sex one more time, but he did not cum in me. I hear that you can get pregnant from precum if there are any leftover sperm cells in there. But you can flush any of that away when you pee. So he peed before that just in case. Four days later, I get an unusual period where the blood is less thick, though there are clots. I am having bad headaches every now and then, terrible cramps, dizziness, nausea, and tiredness. And today I had terrible back pain, which scares me a lot. The bleeding is only a little, and it is now really dark brown. I am really worried at this point. Am I okay?"
