Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "I have been using Soolantra a little over a week now. Within the first few days, it was really hard to tell if it was working or not, I had the feeling that my skin got slightly worse after 2 days. Now, after about 10 days of using this cream, I'm starting to notice a small difference. Not so many whiteheads, the old ones are healing. The redness is still there, but that is okay as I see the improvement, and probably, like with every treatment, it takes a bit of time. So far, so good!"

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "Applied Soolantra cream samples to entire face and neck for 3 nights. Developed intense itching, redness, and multiple red bumps and pustules on my cheeks and neck after the 3rd dose. I went from mild redness with no bumps to broken out and itching like crazy. I sure hope this goes away soon! Waiting on a call back from my dermatologist to find out what to do."

For Rosacea "I used to have clear skin till the age of 21. I used to get compliments from everyone. But then I have gone through an emotional phase, and that time my first symptoms were dryness over the skin, and then the redness with bad acne and disfiguring of the skin. I have seen the best dermatologists, but nothing is going right for me. I have changed my diet to a 'rosacea-friendly diet,' no makeup, and it's been almost 6 years that I am not going outside (only visits to the doctor). I have used ivermectin in 2017, but I think it has not given me good results, and now my doctor again started it 8 months back. I am confused whether it is going to be useful or work on my skin :-( I live in India and have never seen anyone with such severe rosacea in my town."

For Rosacea "This stuff is the worst! I suffered from minor flushing on the tops of my cheeks. Put this on at night, woke up, my face was on fire. I looked like I had a sunburn all across my cheeks and it was so painful. I read the reviews and tried to stick it out for about a week, but I couldn't do it anymore. Luckily, hydrocortisone helped clear the redness, but I would never put that on my face again. I'd rather have it the way it was before."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "Ok, so I started on Soolantra back in December. I was on Rozex before, once daily, but it had stopped working and was giving my skin this horrible, waxy texture. I started using Soolantra by itself. The first month was awful. A lot of blackheads and small red bumps. I went to my dermo, and she told me to apply Soolantra OD at night and Rozex OD in the morning. My skin continued to be terrible for about 3 months. And then all of a sudden, it cleared up. I also have acne, so once in a while, I'll get some cysts, but nothing like before (I get these around the time I begin to menstruate). However, I also gave up drinking alcohol in January, and this perhaps also helped. Well, the combination of not drinking and using these creams twice a day has really worked very well. I still have redness, but nothing like before. And my skin feels so soft."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "I loved it very much in the beginning. Saw improvements within 1 week, which is weird for me after so many failed meds. However, not sure why. About 6 months into it, I'm starting to see more bumps, redness, and itch again. I still wear it daily, but it's been 1 month with symptoms back, and it's not helping anymore. I'm gonna give it a few more weeks to see if I’m not discussing with my doctor. I hope it works again as well as it did for so long. It actually disappeared. My insurance covered it just fine, $60 copay."

For Rosacea "I started Rosiver (Ivermectin) cream 3 nights ago. First night went well, woke up about the same. I have been using Onreltea in the mornings for redness. I get a few bumps but nothing too major. I have since had what appears to be a breakout, but nothing too much is sticking out, just really red and angry on my cheeks and forehead, with lots of little bumps near the hairline. I hope this is just temporary because I read so many positive reviews that it was better in just days. I am sticking it out because it can only get better, right?! No rating yet, I will come back soon with an update."

For Rosacea "Giving an update. I rated this cream a 7 back in May when I used it for about 6 weeks. After 8 weeks, my skin was completely clear. I suffered from moderate rosacea in redness and pimples, lots of pimples. Give 8 weeks for full results. Your skin is gonna get worse before it starts getting better. The first few weeks, your condition will worsen. Don't give up. And wash your sheets and pillowcases regularly!"

For Rosacea "Been using ivermectin for 1 week now. Some improvement on face, though I seem to have a reaction and redness and red spots on my neck from it. Has anyone else had this experience? Otherwise, I think it’s slowly working on the face area. Live in Scotland, UK, so I get it free from doctor."

"I had a small patch of dermatitis on my chin that wouldn't budge for months, my GP prescribed topical metronidazole. The patch disappeared, instead, I became afflicted by the 'ring of doom'-papules and redness all around my nose and mouth, and at the corners of my eyes (can't say for sure that metronidazole was the cause, as nothing else about my environment had changed: humid to dry climate, etc.). After diagnosis of perioral dermatitis from a derma, I started topical Soolantra (ivermectin). I'm on day 15. I apply it twice a day, morn post-sunscreen and eve. Condition neither better nor worse. Redness fades through the day, just flakes and itches. As soon as it comes into contact with water or my bioderm wash (which the derm recommended), it's angry-looking again. Stopped taking Yasmin as it seems to be a potential cause-perhaps a mistake while still early days for the cream to work, but I hate this thing! Going to try adding azelaic acid to my routine to see if that makes a difference!"

For Rosacea "I have been using Rosiver (Soolantra) for about a month now. I’m not sure if I should stop. I keep getting flare-ups where I get bad acne and bumps plus redness. There are moments of my skin seeming to calm down, only to flare up again. I’m tempted to stop, but read that people have seen positive results after using for a while."

Ivermectin topical for Rosacea "After seeing a dermatologist regarding my face flare-ups, I have rosacea. I’m 37 and have started Soolantra and Oratane. OMG!! My face after night 1 of cream has had a massive flare-up and looks terrible, too embarrassed to go out. I have been reading people’s reviews on here to stick with it for the long haul. I just hope it settles, it's itchy, white pus, and redness all over. Don’t realize how bad the bugs are."

For Rosacea "I got the diagnosis of “mild” rosacea two months ago - I had very dry, almost flaky, red skin, especially on my upper cheeks. Whenever I’d put on makeup, it would look horrible, dry and uneven, and just not like the beautiful skin I used to have. I also got some pimples on the cheeks that I never had before. I was so sad. My doctor gave me this, and I have been on it for a month (skipped some days even when sleeping out). My skin is almost clear now to a point where people comment on it. And I’m wearing less makeup. It has helped especially with the dryness quite quickly, and the redness is reduced every day, I feel. I did have some periods with big pimples on the cheek that I didn’t usually get, but it’s all worth it because it cleared fast. Now waiting for the last bit to clear up. I use it every evening before bed and wait about 20-30 minutes to put on my night moisturizer. Hope it will work just as well for you - it truly gave me back my confidence."
