For Rhinitis "I took this for my inner ear infection and swollen lymph node. After the 3rd day of one squirt in the left nostril, I started getting anxiety and panic attacks. It worked great to relieve ear symptoms, but definitely not worth the anxiety and panic attacks."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Flonase has changed my life. I developed a sinus infection a week before my cruise to the Bahamas and knew I couldn’t go like that. My sinus infections typically last 5-7 days. I would take Benadryl, Zyrtec, Sinex, Mucinex, and use Vick’s Vapor Rub. I also used the Vick’s Vapor Rub steam inhaler. It would only give me temporary relief! I would never try nasal sprays. I didn’t want to put anything in my nose. I finally tried Flonase and Hallelujah!!!! It wasn’t immediate, but it worked. I tried it at 11:30 p.m. and at 6 a.m. I all of a sudden started breathing normally and have not had any issues or side effects! It was such a major breakthrough for me! It is definitely going with me on my cruise!"

For Allergic Rhinitis "I was advised to use Flonase by my ENT. I have been feeling agitated, unusually aggressive, and angry for three days. I have been using Flonase for three days. Use caution if you are sensitive to medications. This is dangerous!!!"

For Allergic Rhinitis "Flonase seems to dry out my nose but causes throat and voice irritation. Dr. advised to just give one shot in each nostril once a day but aim the spray to the outside wall of the nose. After a couple of days, it seems to be helping but still have some throat itch. I wonder how many days it will take for the vocal cords to settle down?"

For Allergic Rhinitis "I started Flonase a few weeks ago. The first few days, I was impressed with the immediate relief I felt, but any noticeable positive effects wore off quickly, and I used it intermittently without being able to feel a difference between 4 days in a row and 4 days off. It took me a little while to realize the correlation between Flonase and my sudden onset of adult night terrors. I'd wake up in the middle of the night with my heart racing faster than if I had sprinted up a mountain. The first time, I thought I was maybe having a heart attack. Episodes would happen whether I took it at 11 pm or 4 pm earlier that day. I also began having palpitations and chest tightness during the day after the nights I took it, which in retrospect are likely related. I'm only 30 and not overweight, and these effects started 1-2 days into taking Flonase. I can't imagine the cardiac effects it is having on people who take it for years!"

For Rhinitis "Great product, have been using it on and off for 10 years. Was a smoker while using this product, and it would open up sinus, great. Now I'm a non-smoker and use it for allergies. Glad to see it's now over the counter. Happy, happy, happy!"

For Rhinitis "I used Flonase for several months. It seemed to be working well. Then I started to get nosebleeds. Then I was told by medical personnel that the Flonase can thin the mucous membranes inside the nose. So, I'll never use this again."

For Rhinitis "Awesome! For years, I suffered sinus headaches, which are much like migraines. Flonase has alleviated that tremendously. I don't take this all the time, just when I sense allergy season or plan to be somewhere where there is an atmospheric change, like the mountains or in an airplane. It keeps my sinuses from swelling, causing the headache, it's not an instant fix, it takes about 11 hours to be effective on me."

For Rhinitis "I used to use tons of OTC nasal sprays to the point of addiction, really. I had to stop, but both nostrils would clog completely shut without it. I have also severe nasal allergic reactions and swollen air passages/asthma. My Dr. gives me Flonase by Rx. Within a couple of weeks, my nose cleared, both nostrils stopped swelling, no more nasal allergy, and this has been a miracle med for me! I never needed Afrin or anything again. My sense of smell is still low, but I can smell now!"

For Allergic Rhinitis "I suffer from year-round allergies to at least a half dozen allergens. My doctor has had me on Claritin and Nasonex. While they didn't completely alleviate my symptoms, he had no other suggestions. When I ran out of Nasonex, I decided to forego the hassle of stopping by my doctor's office to pick up a prescription and instead got Flonase from a nearby Walgreen's. This stuff is the best! It alleviated all of my symptoms (constant runny nose, itchy and watery eyes, nasal congestion). So much so that I can breathe through my nose at night without my usual Breathe Right strip. Thank you, GSK!"

For Allergic Rhinitis "Flonase has been amazing for me. I began using it to stop my 17-year addiction to Afrin. It wasn't easy at first; I almost gave up. But, after about three weeks, I noticed I didn't need to use the Afrin as much. I used the Flonase exactly as directed, and I think this made a difference. My advice is to give it time! I used both Afrin and Flonase the first few weeks. I tried to really cut back on the Afrin and only use it if I had to (still led me to using 4 times per day). One day, I woke up breathing just fine and didn't reach for the Afrin; I only used the Flonase. For the rest of the day, I didn't use Afrin! It's been 30 full days Afrin-free! I never thought I could kick it. Be patient, use it as directed, and keep using it! I can breathe better, wake up non-stuffy, can smell perfumes, have less sneezing, less headaches, and best of all, I don't have to tote around a bottle of Afrin everywhere I go! I use the Costco brand, and it worked like a charm and is very affordable."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Flonase works so well! I've been on it for about a week now, and I'm noticing fast improvements. Around the 4th day, my sinus headaches were slim to none, my watery right eye stopped, and I didn't sneeze 10 times a day. No side effects. I am still a little stuffed up... but that's what sinus tea is for! Thank you, Flonase!"

For Allergic Rhinitis "Works wonderfully. Takes a few days to kick in and leaves an unpleasant feeling in the throat, though. The latter can easily be dealt with by using it just before eating. Surprised to see this is a prescription medicine, though. It's over the counter in my home country and in other countries I've visited. Same goes for many similar nasal sprays."

For Rhinitis "It worked well at first and helped to open my airways and allow me to breathe more easily. However, it also had a strange stimulatory effect on me that was similar to that of caffeine. It seems to have lost some of its efficacy, but after taking a nearly year-long break, I tried it again today and found that it is working all right. Although it does give me an odd sensation of cold air feeling colder than it actually is, it is manageable for me, and I don't find it too bothersome. This is just my personal experience."

For Rhinitis "I have chronic sinus congestion without explanation, and it interferes with me being able to use my new CPAP. A friend recommended Afrin, and it works great, but my sleep specialist warned me not to use it more than three days in a row, and I haven't. She also recommended that I switch to Flonase. Well, I'm about to go to bed, and it's day 4 in my rotation, so I decided to try Flonase. Well, instead of taking my congestion from 50% to 0% like Afrin, I now have a splitting headache, and my congestion went from 50% to 100%. Now I won't be able to sleep at all, because I can't use Afrin tonight, and instead of being partially blocked (which I can kind of deal with), I am completely blocked."

For Rhinitis "I was prescribed Flonase for sinus and middle ear pressure, 2 sprays each nostril, 2x per day. It works great, however, the heart palpitations and nervousness are not worth it for me. I had to stop using it."

For Rhinitis "My doctor put me on this because my nose gets stuffy when I lay down, and they didn't want me using Afrin. I've been on Flonase almost a week, and I notice no difference. Sprayed each nostril every night... nose still stuffy. I can't sleep, and it's going on 3 am, and I have to be up at 7. Nothing clears my nose as good as Afrin, but it's bad for continuous use. So this stuff doesn't work."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Used it for a few months, once every morning. Works great to stop the allergies throughout the day. I've definitely not had the debilitating problems that come through now and again as if I caught a cold, and this definitely stops that from happening. But the piercing headaches are bad after a few minutes, so I have to take ibuprofen to get through it. Then, I am OK through the day, mostly, I can function. But after a while, a couple of months, my whole body started to feel numb. Can't feel my back, arms, legs, hands, feet, shoulders, and numb in a way that I am not able to perform athletically. If I get hurt, twist a wrist, or pull a muscle, I can feel those kinds of things, but for coordination, I felt detached, weak, awful, angry, annoyed."

"Yes, I use Flonase for only three days due to a cold I have and allergies. The worst ever caused my nose to burn my nose and lips. It left me a heavy scab that I can't get rid of. It makes you dizzy. It is nasty. I recommend do not use. Instead, go buy generic Claritin to be on the safe side. Don't believe everything doctors say or want to sell you."

For Rhinitis "Flonase is the only medication that effectively treats my allergies the best. I have tried other medications, and when my allergies are at their peak, at their worst, I get terribly sick with a sinus infection, upper respiratory bronchitis. I get a lot of problems, but with Flonase, it clears all that right up and keeps me from getting sick."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I had hay fever so severe that I could barely function during my allergy season. Oral antihistamines did very little for me, apart from making me drowsy and/or unable to sleep, and I seemed to metabolize them more quickly than predicted. I was taking them every few hours to maintain relief, but it was messing me up in other ways. Flonase was unbelievably helpful. During my bad season, I would take two inhalations in each nostril, twice per day. As long as I was consistent about its use, it would keep my nasal symptoms at bay. I had no side effects. The smell is a bit unpleasant and lingers, but not so severe in the grand scheme. My allergies are more mild now, but I still keep Flonase around for bad days. I recommend it to any and all."

For Rhinitis "Flonase has changed my life! Before using this, I was blowing my nose at least 20 times a day and sneezing about a dozen times. I would wake up in the morning, and my nose would be so plugged I would stand in the bathroom and blow my nose for five straight minutes to get relief. After only 2 weeks on this, I now maybe blow my nose twice a day and have maybe sneezed twice total. The only thing it hasn't helped with much are dry eyes. I would highly recommend at least trying this to see if it works, it has been wonderful for me!"

For Allergic Rhinitis "I had problems with fluid in my ears (Eustachian tube dysfunction) for a long time, and it kept causing ear infections. So my doctor said it was Eustachian tube dysfunction and had me take this. It has worked wonders. There's no fluid in my ears, and I have not had an ear infection since. The only side effect I've had is that it burns my nose sometimes."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I have been on Flonase for a little over 2 years. I hadn't noticed any issues until here recently. I contracted COVID-19 in January of 2021 and, like many people, lost most of my sense of taste and smell. After 6 months, it really hadn't returned. After COVID, I started having daily mild nosebleeds. A few weeks ago, I started getting sinus headaches, specifically after trying a generic Flonase and then back with name brand Flonase a few days later. I decided to go off of Flonase 3 weeks ago. No more sinus headaches. My nasal bleeding is less. My sense of smell and taste are back in full swing but not quite normal after just 3 weeks of being off Flonase. I about cried when I could smell a bar of soap or bacon cooking. I thought I was a long hauler with COVID-19, but it seems it was Flonase. My experience might not be the same for everyone, many who had COVID-19 do lose their taste and smell as a result of the virus, that just wasn't the case for me."

For Rhinitis "I wouldn't recommend Flonase for vasomotor rhinitis or enlarged turbinates, it does nothing and can have significant side effects. Afrin works for those issues, but long-term use isn't recommended, better to have a procedure to address if possible. Thankfully, the most noticeable for me was dry nose and nose ache, nothing much more, but could have contributed to ongoing insomnia and fatigue issues, hard to say. Had to take it after a procedure to reduce my inferior turbinates and sinuplasty for inflammation reduction."
