Fluconazole for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Glad to hear my 150 mg one-time dose can cause fatigue, tachycardia, and headache, as well as indigestion and heartburn. A lot of vague symptoms like shaking hands, burping, cold extremities too. I thought I had COVID again! I did drink alcohol on day 6 after taking it, which worsened my side effects severely. Now I know I only need to wait and drink a lot of ginger tea and water and keep my meals simple. This site helped me a lot. Don't drink alcohol with this, you'll regret it. No yeast infection, but now I feel sick three days after alcohol. It started with throbbing in my liver, then evolved 24 hours later into many minor, annoying symptoms."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I'm sensitive to medication side effects, so I took it after eating. I was given 2 doses of 150 mg, one on the first day, then again 3 days later, for a yeast infection after antibiotics for a kidney infection. Day 1: drowsy, dull headache, severe bloat/upset stomach, feeling diarrhea-ish, worst smelling gas of my life (yay). Infection symptoms dissipated within 1/2 day but returned on and off. Today, 7 days later, I took a 1/2 dose. Bad gas, some bloating and upset tummy, but not as severe. Symptoms gone within a few hours of taking it. I'll finish the other half in another day. Maybe it's better to take it at night. Seems somewhat effective so far."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Had the odd yeast infection, usually after antibiotics or too much beer and sugar. Always taken an oral pill, and easily sorted. In NZ, chemist gave me fluconazole. A few hours after taking it, appetite went, 5 hrs, severe nausea, 10 hrs I woke up and vomited the most disgusting, chemical bile. Spent the next day feeling like I'd been hit by a train. All my joints and limbs were aching, bad headache, no energy at all. Started feeling better the next day as nausea was subsiding, then on day 4 I started bleeding with uterus pain. Fresh blood as period wasn't for another 2 weeks. Day 5, bleeding, still itchy, still sore. Rubbish!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I am one day into treatment, and the side effects are wiping me out! I can hardly get out of bed, I’m so fatigued, body aches, headache. Not sure if that is normal, plus after about 12 hours, no results, but that is probably normal. Side effects are a real trip, though, I had to cancel going to work."
