For Birth Control "I've been on this pill about 8 months now. It's my 3rd birth control. Tricyclics give me bad migraines, and I was on Minastrin before this. Minastrin always made me really sad for no reason, too nauseous to eat, very moody and depressed, and I had no period. Cryselle was such a big turnaround for me. I'm back to my normal happy self, periods only last 1-2 days, rarely any cramping. The only thing I noticed was a little bit of weight gain, but that could also be from switching, as the last birth control made me too sick to eat half the time."

For Birth Control "Okay, I'm going to admit there is some nausea, but after about 2 weeks, it goes away. Also, my breasts are slowly getting bigger... not sure if anyone else has similar results. Other than that, it works."

"This is my third month on this pill, and so far, it's really good. I have not experienced any bad acne or weight gain. My periods are much less painful, I don't have to take any painkillers during my period now! (Sometimes I took 2-4 Aleve a day to stop the pain.) I haven't experienced any nausea or discomfort, and I rarely have mood swings now."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I am 55, and after 6 months of no period, mine came back with a vengeance. 14 days straight, heavy bleeding, huge clots. The doctor put me on this medicine and instructed me to take 4 pills on day 1, 3 on day 2, etc., until I was down to one a day, skipping the placebo and going straight to the next set of pills. It works great except one thing: the nausea. I am nauseous all the time. Is this normal?"

For Birth Control "I have been taking Cryselle for 2 years now, and I love it. Haven't had any side effects, and the way it helps keep my period regular is awesome. I know exactly when to expect it and how long it will last. Before Cryselle, I was taking another birth control that made me nauseous, gave me headaches, and would give me 2 periods a month. I love that I found Cryselle, and I will continue to use it."

For Birth Control "I've been on it for about 3 years, it works, as I haven't gotten pregnant. My first 3 months were horrible, with nausea and vomiting on the first 2 weeks of the pack. I take my pill at night, so waking up on the first weeks of the pack was horrible. My doctor warned me of feeling 'morning sickness,' but the nausea subsided after the 3 months. I still occasionally get some nausea, but it's only if I missed a dose and had to take 2 on the same day. My periods are about 3 days and light. I always get it by the third day of taking the placebo pills. Some months I get cramps, but they're not painful. I get PMS one week before my period, and I've noticed I get really depressed, emotional, and get chin acne. I've gotten used to it, so I'm okay with it."

For Birth Control "Finally, after countless trials and errors with different pills, I found one that works. Going on month 2. First week, it gave me a headache and a bit of nausea, but by week 2, I felt fine. I know they say it takes up to 3 months for your body to adjust, so I am waiting to see if it does clear up my face a bit. Other than that, sex drive has been higher, which is a plus."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on birth control for a year, and I didn’t have any side effects besides maybe a small headache, like once a month, which was close to my period week. I recently got switched to a new birth control which is basically the generic form of my old pill, and it is “Cryselle.” I’ve been on this pill for 3 weeks, about to be on my 4th. I’ve noticed that after I take my pill every night at 9 pm, 30 minutes after, my stomach starts feeling weird and it continues on until 10 am the next morning at least. It makes me feel as if I’m going to throw up, but I can’t throw up. Also, I’ve noticed whenever I eat a full meal after I took this pill, it makes me feel even worse than I do if I don’t have a full meal afterward. Sometimes I eat before, and sometimes I eat after. Anyone know of a way to resolve this problem? Also, I’ve been having body aches in a way and feel extremely tired and more emotional than I’ve ever felt."

For Birth Control "I felt very nauseous the whole time, and suffered from a hypersensitivity to smells, which only compounded the problem. It happened from the very first day that I took the birth control and lasted a few days after I quit."

For Birth Control "I had my period for a month straight after taking this for a couple of weeks. Then, when that was finally done and I got my period again the week before, I was extremely bloated and constipated. I have had no sex drive, when my boyfriend tries to be physical with me, I get disgusted, and my anxiety and depression have been horrible. Along with that, I have nausea almost every time I eat. I've been miserable. Worst birth control I have ever taken."

For Birth Control "I've been using Cryselle for three months now, and it has been amazing! I used to get horrible cramps that often made me nauseous and resulted in me missing several days of school just because of my period. Since I've been on this birth control, my period changed from 5 days to 3 days, and I bleed much lighter with mild to no cramps. The first couple of weeks, I had some mood swings and cravings for food, but it stopped after the first month. The only downside to it is it will make you feel nauseous if you take it at night, and my breasts are very tender and sore during my period. But other than that, A++!"

For Birth Control "I was before on Trinessa, and I never had any side effects or problems. I'm on Cryselle for about 2 weeks (I had to change the pills for a while) - I have constant nausea and dizziness. I hope this goes off soon - if no, I'm stopping them."

For Birth Control "I've been on Cryselle for 3 years. It's the best birth control that ever has controlled my period. Light, never heavy, sometimes so light you don't have to wear anything except a liner. I'll start on Thursday, be off by late Saturday, with spotting on Sunday. Before, I'd bleed for two weeks straight. But the side effects of this pill are horrible. Everything starts two weeks before: severe breast tenderness, uncontrollable mood swings, nausea, headaches, and slight stomach pains that aren't cramps. If you can bear all of the symptoms and have short periods, then Cryselle is for you, if not, then you should pass."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "At only 18, I’ve tried numerous different birth controls (around four, not including Cryselle) to regulate my periods, prevent severe cramping, and heavy flows. Ever since starting, I have been vomiting at least twice monthly and experience nausea frequently. It occurs at the beginning of the month always, and at times will happen towards the end as well... Almost as if it’s simultaneous with my cycle. I switched from morning consumption to at night, have tried consuming it with food - all to no avail, the same symptoms persist. I’ve been on Cryselle for six months now. My doctor suggests the Depo-Provera injection or an IUD due to my lack of success with oral contraceptives, both of which I have concerns about. All of this for a normal period."

For Birth Control "Just want to say this first and foremost. Every girl’s body is different and is going to react differently to this pill. Not everyone is going to have the same experience. Some it will work great for, others it may not. I’ve read some good reviews and some bad reviews. I’ve been on Low-Ogestrel for about a week now, and I’ve noticed no difference in mood or diet. My period lasted about 5 days on this pill and seems to be working well for me. I am not sure if my opinion will change over the next few months given that I’ve only been taking this for a week. But as of right now, this pill is working well for me. I was on a different form of birth control a while back that gave me horrible migraines and nausea, and so far, LO has done none of that for me. I feel perfectly fine after taking this pill. As of right now, I give this pill a good review as it has been working for me."

For Birth Control "Began taking this, and for the first week, I was fine. The second week brought terrible morning sickness and sometimes even vomiting. I even took it along with food, it didn't seem to help. Does not interact well with alcohol either. My anxiety worsened as well while on this, totally not worth it. Don't recommend."

For Birth Control "Cryselle was the first birth control pill prescribed to me by my gynecologist. I was only on it for a little over two weeks when she advised me to make a switch to a different pill. I had some serious nausea, even throwing up on one occasion. It also seemed to make my migraines worse (I have chronic migraines to begin with), and I had some consistent spotting and mood swings. I did, however, notice a slight improvement in my acne and did not have any weight gain. I'm sure that everyone's body works differently, but this is how my body reacted to Cryselle."

For Endometriosis "After being diagnosed with endometriosis in July, my doctor decided to have me take this birth control pill to help with the terrible, stabbing pains of the endo. I must say, I noticed a huge difference in pain the next day after taking my first dose! I have not been in pain for a week now! Thank you, Cryselle! Also, so far no major side effects, but it's too early to say. I only had some nausea the first 2 days. Time will tell if any additional side effects should occur."

For Birth Control "This is the worst birth control I have ever taken. Dr. prescribed me this to prevent pregnancy / treat cramps. I have always had horrible menstrual cramps, but this has only made them worse. Every month I have debilitating cramps, headaches, bloating, mood swings. My periods are shorter and lighter, but that's about the only positive point I can give to this brand. Makes me feel nauseous, lightheaded, and crampy in between periods. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone!"

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I am so satisfied with Low-Ogestrel! I am only a teenager, just using this birth control for period management; not actual birth control. Before I was on this pill, I had the worst periods ever. I had unbearable cramps, I was sick all of the time, and yet they were very, very heavy! Now I have been on Low-Ogestrel for 8 months, and I couldn't be happier with the results. My periods are much lighter, only last a few days, I have far less cramping, and I don't get sick anymore! I experience very slight side effects, sometimes nausea after taking the pill every night, and slight weight gain. Overall, totally worth it!"

For Birth Control "I started taking this birth control almost 2 years ago. I was very nauseous for the first few weeks, but it subsided and seemed to be going great! A few months ago, I missed one pill and took 2 within a few hours of each other and ended up throwing up (my own fault). Lately, I have been struggling with horrible anxiety (18 years old, about to leave for college) and I have had awful nausea and low sex drive with my boyfriend. I am not sure if these are symptoms of my birth control or just anxiety. Around the time my period tracker says I'm ovulating, my discharge seems to be very thick and mucus-like. I'm not sure this is normal. Otherwise, absolutely affordable and seems to be reliable!"

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "My review may not be fair since it's only been about a week that I have been on Cryselle (ethinyl estradiol 0.030 mg and norgestrel 0.30 mg). I had been on Minastrin 24 FE (ethinyl estradiol 0.020 mg and norethindrone acetate 1 mg) for years, and they recently discontinued it. I started Cryselle, and I have had a migraine every single day since then. My migraines cause nausea, and I feel horrible. My doctor wants me to give it 3 months before we make a decision on whether to keep taking it or not. Hopefully, it will help with bleeding. When Minastrin 24 FE was first discontinued, I was put on Blisovi (the generic of Minastrin 24 FE), which did nothing for me for 3 months. I bled for 3 weeks straight taking Blisovi."

For Birth Control "I've only been on this pill for a week now, and my breasts have become bigger. I was in a C and D in some, but none of my C's fit me anymore. And I don't know if this affects it or not, but I started the pill on the Sunday my period was on. I also am very nauseous when I wake up or stand up for a long time. My hips have hurt very badly in the past couple of days. Really thinking about stopping this medication."

For Birth Control "I've been on Cryselle for about 6 years, never had a problem. No side effects, never experienced a headache (but I never get headaches prior). Periods always come on the 3rd placebo pill day and last 2 days, and the 3rd day is spotting. No crazy hormones and no acne AT ALL. The first pack, you will experience nausea as any birth control pill because of the hormones, but it should subside by the second pack. I did stop taking the pills after about 5 1/2 years when I noticed my vaginal mucus started smelling funky for about 2 months. When I stopped birth control completely, it went away, and then I had a baby. I just finished my first pack of Cryselle post-pregnancy, and the same smell is back. Maybe I was on it for too long, though! Hope this helps."

For Birth Control "I've been on this pill for four months now. I used to have extremely heavy periods that could last longer than a month. This pill has reduced my period to a week, and it's what I imagine is normal instead of heavy. Since I started this pill, I've had extremely strange experiences with my stomach. I have a lot of stomach problems, but this has been a lot worse. I'm nauseous almost all the time now, with the mornings being the worst. I experienced discomfort in my upper right abdomen, mimicking gallstones or an infection. Went to the ER, they had no idea what it was. Unsure if this is related to this medication, but there definitely seems to be a relation between it and the nausea. No acne or weight gain from me, as I've been reading about."
